Is Necro still BUSTED without Grief? | MTG Modern Gameplay

Crazy that even in a deck with an "Pay 1 life: Draw a card" effect, we are running The One Ring. The card is just that strong.

Hey Doom, I’m that idiot that bought a 4th Sheoldred, 2 meathooks, and the entire green splash package right before grief got banned (of which I had a playset of regular and a playset of borderless). Needless to say the grief ban made me want to cry. Thank you for showing that the deck is not dead, and actually seems quite fun still.

thanks very very much for this vid..i really was expecting it....a little tip from a fellow necro player...dauthi are not good in the main...sheoldred is gonna win all the games...just increase the number of hand disruptions, which is what grief was for in 80% of times....
edit: also the matches you lost it was completely because of luck..either they topdecked perfectly, or you mooliganed because you didnt find land in a 25 land deck.....
please make another video with necro...i strongly believe that the deck has potential

4:38 mono-white can just move all four Thalia to the main (if they weren't there already) and then just mull to it

I wanted to play this deck but with grief but sad that it got banned before I got a chance :(

I think mulling towards necro or ring is advisable

I would strongly recommend against it because of how good it is with Sheoldred :(
