    Wow.... just.... wow.....
    This video made me cry.
A TH-cam VIDEO MADE ME CRY....
You did and amazing job with this, and.... while watching this, I thought about Mr. Horner's Fantastic career, and the music he brought to the movies of my childhood....
It also reminded me about how my Mother loved the Land Before Time, and How she reminded me of Little-Foot's Mother.
When she passed away in 2009, after a long battle with Breast Cancer, I had no desire to see this movie again until Christmas of last year.....
And that's why I cry when I hear this music....

+Mr.Kyles Films 1 Productions Thanks, this theme left a mark on me too. It sums up everything he was capable of in one track - The sound of triumph and melancholy perfected in just three minutes.

So appreciative that you took the time to make this. As a kid I was especially attentive to music in films and when I would watch the credits or look on the back of a vhs sleeve to see who the composer was it was usually either John Williams or James Horner. As I grew older I became familiar with other names ( Maricone, Zimmer, Elfman, etc), but those two were the soundtrack of my childhood. Glad to see you back - especially for this.

plumlogan Thanks Plumlogan, I think John Williams biggest strength is his ability to create a powerful theme where the music itself becomes a character. But those themes can sometimes be so identifiable (Star Wars, Raiders, Jaws) that your imagination can't open up, your brain just starts playing the movie in your head. Horner's scores on the other hand never really had catchy themes or anthems so they always opened up my imagination when I heard them. Either way both are terrific, will see what Williams does in the next Star Wars movie this Christmas.

Mita Larsson Well sadly it took a tragedy to get me going again. Fortunately most of Horner's scores are already on TH-cam so I didn't have to worry about violations.

Great videos! I would like to hear your take on Paul Thomas Anderson and his style of directing.

Dominic Russo I've gotten a few requests for PTA; but for whatever reason he's a hard one to figure out for me. One thing that I've heard is that he likes to pay tribute to his favorite directors in each one of his films (Scorsese, Altman, Kubrick). The easiest example of that was Boogie Nights which was a total Scorsese / Goodfellas tribute. Just substitute the mafia for the porn industry and it is damn near the same movie. Young man from a broken home joins a surrogate family and finds success, by the 80's he is hooked on coke and hits rock bottom but in the end continues the same self destructive behavior.
