I was doing an event at his garage years ago, came around the corner, and nearly hit the floor when I saw it. It's been painted black for many years. His whole collection is unbelievable. His mechanic told me George Clooney, among others, will borrow one of his cars when he's in Chicago.

DANG , I would have loved to gotten that old 1950's International L series Truck !!! Seen it at the end of this video . I need parts for my old 1952 L series Truck with 20" duel wheels !! I wish you could give me a heads-up on auctions and stuff !!

International trucks, the year on the title only reflexes the year it was sold not the year it was built. The truck that sold without the box was 51 or 52, my dad's truck has the same grill and it is a 51. In the truss building did anybody notice the TICKET sign mounted on the mezzanine? I’m in Michigan and those truck prices are incredibly low. However it would probably cost $1500-$2000 to ship them to our market. You might recoup that but barely.
People give me grief for some of the stuff I crush but videos like this prove just how worthless so much of this vintage stuff really is. Many of these didn’t even bring scrap price.

The carnival items are very hard to come by and there are collectors of rides, booths and related items. Myself, looking for a tilt-a-whirl "buggy," or car an areoship unit. You are aware the older dogem cars bring high bucks--look what that single kiddie car unit brought. Impressive "source" list you have..one can only imagine.
Great auction - some SMOKIN' deals had there. Scoring the cabover alone would have been worth the whole day. Red tote tractor @ 44:33 looks like a mock-up of a mid-50s Massey-Harris. Kicking out the windshield @ 42:26 reminded me of Carlo Rizzi in Godfather. Waiting to see contents of the sheds - they've gotta be pure pickin' gold.

What wasn't really seen under the tarps and toppers was that it had been rolled and the cab and doors on the right side looked like a crushed can. That being said, I didn't bid it up because an acquaintance of ours wanted it and the only other bidder was the scrap man. I did buy the two one-piece 16" rims from the rear though.
