Ah! That’s awesome! We do that here in Hawaii too. But we use gates to guide the participants. And if they flip over and can’t correct it under the vehicles own power, or get stuck, they have to reset at the previous gate they completed (gates aren’t too much distance apart from gate to gate). And there is no skipping a gate. The vehicles have to complete it on their own. And course run is timed only. No points or anything. Like a rock race sorta. I call it a point to point or full course run. It’s run solo tho. And sometimes winches are allowed. Depends on the comp and who is hosting it. Great sounding event my dude!! Looks like a fun event! If I could I’d love to participate if I had a fcx24m. Looking forward to the videos from this. Love your guys’ course 😁. Love the content keep em coming!
Hello in Hawaii. I like that Idea of gates or almost like a check point. Yeah where running the whole thing on a timed event. So overall running time. And each task area they run a separate time and they all get added up at the end. Hope that makes sense dude
I would so love to be there for that But I'm way over on the other side of the pond . So I'm gonna have to get something like that over my way up here in Minnesota hope you do video of this I wanna watch all OF IT great video keep it up I'm a huge fan of you guys.
@REACTIVETERRAINRC I couldn't sleep last night thinking about putting together a similar thing together so I started putting all down on paper you guys got me hooked now mine will be an out door event seeing how I do not have a big shop like you do I have access to lots of trail systems around me here in Minnesota and Wisconsin area lots of Bluffs and creek beds as well as the Mississippi River. I think I can make it happen with a bit of research and hiking the local trails.👍
@@REACTIVETERRAINRC I did wonder about the elastic winch ropes . To a stick with rings but work out a measured pull distance from truck to stick ,so it's just to say aiding the truck . Like they do in comps .
It would be awesome if you put an eye in the sky on each obstacle and live-streamed it on the day. Like an okay-ish IP camera capturing it from above. Love this wish I was able to make it. Would make brilliant time-lapses after for the channel Also would love to get my hands on a fms d90/d110. Brings back memories from watching it with my dad seeing them struggling through the bushes, and building bridges makes me feel like a kid again seeing this!
Yeah I think these camel trophy series trucks kind of did that for a lot of us👍 yeah we've spoke about adding a camera system on the course before and making it live for people to kind of tune in at weekends or when we're down there or we've got competitions 👍
@@REACTIVETERRAINRC happy to give input/support been investigating a live stream camera or something similar for my birdwatching hobby. Dam I am sounding old🤣
So I use a combination of weathering Warhammer paints and the classic model enamel paints that I thinned down using enamel thinner. Summer acrylic paints once dry I'll find. I think I might do a weathering video on just a few tips and tricks of how I do my own weathering
I’ve got a idea guys if you could take a balloon cut you a piece and if you can glue it around the casing of the on and off switch would kind of waterproof it and you still be able to turn it on and off just a thought
Just put the switch on position then slather it in liquid tape. Not sure if mine still switches on or off(probably its rubber and playable) i just don't bother i unplug the battery every time anyway
D110 and D90 has slightly bigger tyres than the disco and range rover. Ranger rover has the lowest COG my favourite is the disco. But all three other than d90 perform similar
See it, click it, like it watch it. The order it is when you guys drop a Vid.

Appreciate it bro🤘
Looks fantastic guys, great to see all the organisation you're putting into it.
Cheers these rigs are way too good to not. Especially with the Batrazzi upgrades 🤘
You could allow the use of a whinch, tow rope, etc.
Yeah the course has winches built into it and yeah definitely going to allow ropes ect🤘
Great idea!

What paints are you guys using for all your truck detail work, providing it has to stand up to all the mud and water on the course ?
So I use a combination of weathering Warhammer paints and the classic model enamel paints that I thinned down using enamel thinner. Summer acrylic paints once dry I'll find.

Yeah, I’ll see you next time until then. Peace and chicken grease😁👍👍👋👋😎
Thanks Andy
Have you a link to the rangerover wheels I can't find them from what place you mentioned, great course by the way so scale
DM me on any social platform I and I'll sort it I have got them on our website as of yet 🤘
When I watched it the first time, I did ask myselfe at 12:01 if his sawdust is tinted green...
😂😂😂
Damn id love to drive my fms discovery in there ! Be sure to get a lot of footage

Are you only accepting batrazzi upgrades ? I have noticed Injora are doing a set of upgrades too
At the time injora hadn't realised their upgrades. But yes they are fine aswell 👍
Uggg I would love to be a part of this 😭
Dude if we had the community like you guys have over the pond Reactive Terrain RC would be massive
