*_I get your point but Congress will NOT LISTEN; and, if they listen, they will NOT HEAR._* Rather, this should be listened to by EVERY LEGAL American Citizen, particularly by our young, developing Citizens who are now attending GOVT EDUCATION CAMPS, and, those elsewhere. [Yes, of course, my comment is a dream, but, so was the dream of liberty ... by the American Colonists in 1775. Dreams, with time and effort, can be made to come true.]

I personally think people back then were more intelligent than those of today. They may not have had the technology but they were thinkers, they didn't have all the artificial stimulus which we have today. They seemed to realize that in a free society, just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do it. It's about responsible self governing. A Native American once said, "All this talk about human rights, but none mention responsibility"

+Michael Bates We're inundated with too much information these days. Which comes with an overwhelming amount of distraction, exposure, and misinformation. It's a recipe for disaster. It actually shouldn't come as a surprise that people are much less intelligent today than they were back then. It makes sense.

***** I know the secret to reverse the course of deintelligence. Make babies. Make them take school extremely serious as if it were food or sleep. But especially elementary school and middle school. Make them do homework and make them study for test. Make them a Aplus student from kindergarden to 8th grade. Never buy a computer and never use internet in your house. Tv is okay. But no internet okay??? Second step is make them play 1 sport that requires alot of running for them. Like soccer or basketball or swimming. 3rd step is do not feed them fast food or microwave stuff. Give em lots of chicken rice beans fruits veggies and icecream and cookies. 4th step. Always make em do 1 hour of extra homework. You create the problems or you can buy a book. When they reach highschool they will be so great at school they will find there own way. Oh of course never do drugs. Except for weed and beer. Butnnever do it more then 4 times a month.

Derrick Beltran Well said. Here's the thing, people get caught in a dangerous habit of regurgitating the age-old "well, it's the same with every generation. Every generation always longs for the past and thinks the past was better than the present". While that may be true, there are pretty stark differences between how people act today and how they did back then. They're difficult to ignore. People are lazy in their thinking, they're shallow, mean, greedy, too individualistic, etc. There are big shifts taking place with respect to how Americans act these days and how they acted just 20, 30 years ago... it's reflected in the music, the entertainment, the culture.

He refused the office many times, stating that what they were asking of him would come at great personal sacrifice, and that he just wanted to live in peace on his farm. His sense of duty was strong, and after he saw how many people were asking him, he accepted.
He could've shaped the office any way he wanted, and stayed president for life, and nobody would've tried to stop him, but he didn't. In this farewell address, he reiterates what he had said in the beginning, that he didn't think he was qualified for it, and he adds that he doesn't expect the people to take his advice, it shows he had the presence of mind to know people would follow it to the letter, but knew he wasn't infallible.
I swear, history proves this fact time and time again. The people that are the most fit to wield power and lead nations, aren't interested in doing that. It's hilariously sad. A great leader knows they arent flawless, understands the responsibility, and has only the interests of his people in mind. Unfortunately, it just so happens that if they have those qualities, they'll never think that they can do it, because their standards are high as they should be, the power doesn't attract them but burdens them. It attracts those that are ignorant, act in they own self-interest, and that are undeservedly confident to the point of arrogance.

I would like to share a dream I recently had. I hope that any patriots or people around the world that read this dream, that it brings the same peace and encouragement that it brought to me Thanks in advance.
The dream starts out that I was in a stadium standing in the bleachers. I was surrounded with many other people I didn’t know. There wasn’t a game going on, and no one on the field but we were all in this stadium together. It was twilight. I was clutching close to my chest, a folded American flag in the triangle shape. I was holding it so hard to my chest in the dream. I don’t know why we were all there, but it was kind of like, an end of the road type scenario. Everyone was heartbroken that America was falling but then, Everyone in the stadium began to sing the Star-Spangled Banner together and it was like for the first time ever, I was truly hearing and understanding the meaning behind the words. I truly understood the lyrics and the power behind them. I started sobbing so hard in the dream. I could feel the tears flushing down my cheeks as I was singing and hearing everyone else singing. But then the dream shifted and I was in this small area like a cabin area or something. But the way the environment looked it looked like we were on a boat/ship from the 1700’s inside of the cabin area. The walls were made of stained pine shiplap. When I looked down, I saw a table that kind of looked like the Pac-Man video game table at Pizza Hut when we were kids. It was like a vintage arcade table. And sitting with me, is George Washington.
I saw him. Truly, and completely in his real form. It was him. I looked down at the arcade table and what I saw was this. It looked as though I was viewing one of those cheap cell phone games a kid would download to play on your phone. I looked down into this arcade scene, and I saw a group, or like a hoard of characters that were tan colored. I knew right away they represented our middle eastern enemies and this group of tan colored characters were chasing after a group of gray colored characters and they were trying to overcome them. It was the bad guys against the good guys. You could see that the bad guys outnumbered the good guys and that they were about to overcome all of them. It was like this onslaught against the good guys. But then I looked up at George Washington and he took off his hat and he looked at me kind of like the exact same way you see him looking on the one dollar bill, where it looks like he’s almost kind of smiling, but not? only in the dream he had a little bit more of an upturn curve on one side of his mouth so that you knew he was smiling for sure. It was this confident, humorous smirk. He looked at me with this smirk and before I went back to watching the arcade table he said, “watch this”.
He took off his hat, and he lowered his hat and his hand and his arm down to the surface of this arcade table and it’s like his arm and hat and hand became cartoon like just like the video game. He placed his hat right in between the onslaught of the tan colored villains and the gray colored good guys that were trying to escape the onslaught and he blockaded the tan colored characters. They started to become all discombobulated and crashing into his hat and each other and bouncing off of each other and it was quite comical. It was so funny that I began laughing so hard in the dream that I actually woke myself up laughing because of how they looked. I felt all sadness and fear melt away. It was such a reassuring, lighthearted, comical ending to the dream. but I’m telling you the truth. I literally saw him in his true form. In the most perfect detail. And he was so confident. I wish I could show you how his face looked. This dream was completely out of left field, completely unexpected. But he made me feel safe with how confident and humorous he was. He rekindled my spirit to be brave against the enemy. My dad read my dream and his response is very important for Patriots to hear. He said,
“It does give you a sense that the father of this great Nation is still
watching over us. In my opinion
He is saying "Have no fear, we've been divided before". Right will win
out in the end over the forces of evil. During the Revolutionary War
Patriots were outnumbered by the Tory's and the
British by about 60/40. But we still prevailed. We were divided in the
Civil War, but we came back together. "Malice towards none" as Lincoln
put it. So, it can be done. Lisa if you get a chance.
Read George Washingtons Farewell Address and Lincolns 2nd Inaugural
Address. Always Pray and have Hope.
    Love you, Dad.”
God bless America and defend her always.❤🇺🇸

Every nation still exists INDEPENDENTLY of the political entity that has ruled or is currently ruling it.
This is why there APPEAR to be these sorts of discrepancies when there are really none. Just missing nuance.
Even moreso, the nationstate(s) may change, but the PEOPLE make the Nation, and cannot be divided from the Nation in a true, fundamental HUMAN sense.
    One Nation Under God.

    • @johnk2452
      @johnk2452 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I get what you are saying regarding societal fundamentals --- you are, from my experience of reading comments, one of the few people who do get it --- and, largely, I agree, but, you are incorrect in some facts ... and may need to make a few important changes.
Most critically: "Every nation still exists INDEPENDENTLY of the political entity ..."
Uhhh ... no. Historically, there was more truth in this statement, but, in our modern times, mostly in Western-style NATIONS, this is hardly the universal case.
In our USA, for example, yes, the NATION and the GOVT are DISTINCT entities --- such was clear to our Founders and Framers even before our 2nd Continental Congress --- but, they are HARDLY INDEPENDENT; rather, they are related DIRECTLY, as We The People, that is, the American NATION --- in theory, at least --- ELECT-CONTROL our GOVT; not the other way around.
IOW: there is no GOVT that just comes in, INDEPENDENTLY, and takes control. We The American People, instead, make it happen. [Yes, I understand, this is the way, by our Founders and Framers, it was intended and designed, but, there can be arguments refuting largely this notion. Such is the run and roll of things, in actual practice, in democracies.]
[Note: there is actually a MUCH DEEPER and FUNDAMENTAL reason why, particularly here in our USA, these two entities are NOT INDEPENDENT, but, I will not go into that here and now. Hint: it all has to do with TRUE democracy.]
Further: it's not clear to me what you mean by "Just missing nuance." Hmmm ...?
Further, again: "Even more so, the nation-state may change, but the PEOPLE make the Nation, and cannot be divided from the Nation in a true, fundamental HUMAN sense.
Actually, again, I get your point about NATIONS, typically, being, long-lived, but, throughout ALL of recorded human history, NATIONS, on a large time scale, have changed-evolved repeatedly and continually; and, the STATE [read: the GOVT] has changed much more rapidly.
Last item: "One Nation Under God." Absolutely correct ... as emphasized in our OFFICIAL NATIONAL MOTO: In GOD We Trust".
Nonetheless, good comment. The truths you wrote made me think a bit more than usual.
