Some additional notes for the $30 budget build for Red Dragon Archfiend!
I think in the end you can mix and match the variety of cards in here in dozens of combinations. For example you can play in a midrange fashion but still play Burning Soul for recursion and King Calamity plays!
But I wanted to make 3 versions that each made the most out of the cards available!
For example, you shouldn't really play Extravagance and Dangers together so I thought it'd be cool to make versions that let you try them in different strategies.
But i'll also leave some additional information on the reasoning for the different builds here:
Build #1 Midrange:
The whole goal was to be repeatable every turn and to consistently make Abyss + trap card of choice every turn
You got great follow-up and grind game with Wandering King, Red Rising Dragon, Crimson Gaia, Synkron Resonator and Red Reign when you draw it!
Build #2 Control:
With cards like King Back Jack alongside a bunch of powerful normal traps with some even being searchable through engine, it's super easy to flex into a control style. Extravagance let's you see more traps and you only care about making a couple big bodies, so even if you banish 6, you can probably beat them down with 1 Abyss/Bane.
Build #3 Calamity Turbo:
It's crazy to think a structure deck can let you make King Calamity on your opponent's turn but aslong as you see Burning Soul, its 100% doable because our main engine is so consistant at putting out the correct bodies. The Dangers were a cool approach since it helped with consistency but didn't have the downside of Extravagance potentially burning all your major pieces.
Yes, I need another video on this deck :)
Great video!
Could you make a competitive version of the deck?
Wow didn't know burning soul did that. Id have to alter the nee kids deck
THIS IS NUTTY, glad to see a unique build
