I'm also a fan of older equipment. Tractors specifically. More specifically the Fordson Dexta from 1961. I still have yet to find it or a similar in mod hub 😥
Great episode @zorchfarming - it's funny, almost everyone has chosen either the JD or Case version of that seeder - it just aligns with the HP and low cost requirements too well! I may have chosen something different - but I'm feeling the pain!
You're right, we all have. When I decided to join this challenge, albiet late, I did a lot of research in a relatively short period of time and those are the best options when considering power and width of the drill. I wish there were more "old" drills to choose from but sadly those two are the best for your buck. It's a no brainer to take those when the drilling width is actually really decent in comparison to other like priced drills.
Nice work with selling all the silage bales. Plan with a different tractor was a good move. Look forward to the next one.
I like to play tractor roulette at the early stages of a challenge...hahah
Nice one man. I’ll have to look up that Massey….good power and I like the older stuff.

@@ZorchFarming sounds specific, lol. Loud, smokey, noisy and all that stuff….the good stuff.
@@northernfarmsim go check it out. A true beaut! 🤙🤪

You have no Ft PTO now so you may want to sell your mowers and buy the JD batwing instead . That may help the cash flow as well .
This is a great point. Forgot about the batwing and more importantly the price
Nice progress I just released my first episode today for this challenge, there appears to lots of folks taking it on.
The list is ever growing! I will add your link in the description. Happy to have another on board 😄
