I see everyone else is saying the same thing basically, but I basically won't watch a video if it's under an hour these days when I'm looking for gameplay, especially with this game because I'm usually playing it in the background as well. Love the longer video! Keep it up
Super strength is absolutely fine to use. Unless you're doing a close to realistic farming, then using super strength is no biggy regardless what others might say. I use super strength all the time when doing same start out as you.
I only started playing FS about a king again and when I first started watching videos I found SWU. When I seen him using super strength it bothered me so much as it felt like cheating. After I bought my first greenhouse and needed a forklift for the pallets I absolutely understand how important it is and how much it is needed.
little late to the party, but the White Farm Pack has a silo that will turn grass, hay, straw and chaff all into silage and it's $15,000. AND it has a spout to pull under to load your wagons into

Perfect example of why we need Lawn Mowing contracts in Farming Simulator. This just isn't $0 money. Giants. City contracts to weedwack guardrails. Why has this been so hard to comprehend? There isn't a kid alive that didn't learn business by mowing a lawn with the landowner's lawnmower. Graduated to also using a weedwacker. Longed for a rider mower; then bagging. And omg the Zero-turn. First rented truck and OWNED trailer. Then owning the first truck. THAT is $0 money and rags to riches.
Suggestive comments on supercut compilations will always give me a chuckle. Some people are just here and have no idea where they are or what they are doing.
For starting lumber cutting you could always do a "Burly Man" run where you increase your carry weight to 300 and then use the mod that gives you more lumber cutting details set to cut by weight with a max of 200. You need the 300 carry weight though because the mod doesn't actually respect 200 very well and goes over quite often.
I have idea, how about to rags to riches that incorporated humans everyday expenses (food, drink, clothes, supplies, living arrangements, etc.).... Is it even possible with this game to be done like that, basically make it as realistic as possible to real life how people can do for example in USA or another country and just pick one. And borrowing tools and equipment for a fee should also be there and loans but you can't get a loan without a proof of income.... Basically you probably get my drift...
I've seen a few like this! It really is such a cool idea and VERY immersive from a role playing standpoint. Working your way up the chain from $0 AND having to worry about basic human necessities would be challenging. Possibly start out landscaping with just a mower or maybe even power washing vehicles if you didn't wanna go the lumberjack route.
I started playing no man's land almost the same way as you. But then quickly realized I am ganna indeed lose my mind, so as a "speed up", I got donated some money, so I can get slightly larger equipment.
You'd think the farm equipment shop would have the ability to tell you which equipment is compatible with whatever other equipment, or at least allow the player to enter a piece of equipment they own and then it would only bring up the equipment that is compatible with that particular piece of equipment anyway? If you have any pull with the game's developer for streaming their game, you might suggest it to them for future versions of the game possibly incorporating something like this?
The problem I have with these "challenges" is Mods. At least use Mods that are reasonably priced compared to Base-Game Vehicles. 3500€ for a Tractor seems rather cheap, it maybe old but in-game that makes no difference. Its not like it breaks down every 2 days because its that old, it does the same job as a 50k Tractor from the Base-Game.
Yea your right, why didn’t he go out and sell real trees in real life in order to buy the game and include that into his let’s play. So strange that he didn’t do that.
FarmSim is hard to play starting with $0 since it's never true. Either you play your own fields and thus you need a ton of initial money even for the basic machinery and the field, or you rely on missions and then it matters not how much money you have because everything is provided by the owners. The closest to "rags" I could get is decide to play without missions, without grass\sillage since it's op and boring, without leasing since it's like having top machinery from the start and no stealing (buying a ready field, harvesting and selling back). Using manager to reduce money to 0 and only using the $500k loan. At least it's close to kinda-not-having-money. But starting from 0 is somewhat impossible.
Sorry yes I see you mention missions (I should have assumed this as contracts). Yes they are pretty grinding but they do teach you the game. The thing I don't like is that you get all the powerful juicy equipment which kinda ruins it for me as I like to build my way up to the best machinery and experience it through hard work. An element of roleplay is certainly needed. I usually buy a field and car then use the devtools to almost zero my money. Then I play like it's an inheritance from a farmer uncle and I'm a city boy.
@@Mr_Chuckles I also enjoy ascending from 0 to riches. But, like I said, the game is too much a sandbox, the balance of the growing ladder is awful. There are no obstacles to gaining more money, it's like a choice whether you want more or not. So harvest own fields for 10k, harvest grass for 70k or run missions for 50k-ish per field with everything given. I normally remove all my money via admin mode, take a loan 500k and set some limits: no contracts, no stealing (buying, harvesting and selling fields), no switching fields without using, no grass\silage, no animals, no leasing. So I only use Activa 7.5m, a basic tractor, a sower and a small wagon. Rest goes into a field and I get up from there. Still, getting the best equipment is kinda the end. Since I don't need anything else, no goal, no point in keeping harvesting fields after doing it like 30 times. It's incredibly repetitive and boring. Only do that for meditation and dopamine detox. Sadly, the best money gain from crops is avoiding additional field works. Say, we don't need to plow, we sow and harvest. That's 200% work (100% = 1 field pass) for x units of crop. Let's say 100. So 1% of work = 0.5 crop. That was 80% efficiency. Maximum is 165%. Now, let's say we add 2 fertilizers, 1 weeder and 1 lime (only every 3rd time) so we get 200%+333%=533% work. And get roughly 200 crop. Now it's 0.37 crop per 1% work. Plus you need time to go to shop for fertilizer\lime, plus you need much more money for machinery and repairs. Not only it won't ever repay you the cost, it's almost twice worse. So... it's only done for fun. And if you play for fun, not for money, you don't need to choose hard economics, you can play easy mode and buy everything right away, which kinda erases most of the point of playing. I can buy a good car, drive around, see a few sunsets and quit. Hard work would be silly without any goal. So... Whatever I do, I don't get much challenge. Only boredom of grind. Still, it's nice to play the game from time to time, harvest some silage bales, enjoy the scenery... Yep.
@@RedGallardo Agree with everything you said. But yes at the end of the day its gotta be fun, its a game after all. It would be nice if there was a "disasters" aspect to it, like failed crops, problem solving etc. That was a big part of Simcity and indeed many other "sims".

to bad you cant start with a horse n plow on foot, then a steam tractor, then kerosene engine then gas then go more modern lol
That would be amazing
That -5 at the beginning (4:46). I feel it
1:10:51 lol
Conveyer belts are the best way to get silage and stuff out of the silage pits.
Generators, generators, generators, then speed up time and buy more generators. Tah'dah, I'm rich, $10 million plus in my account.
It does work but. It my style.
Do a series on Goat simulator
Nah I’m good lol
Why are most TH-camrs playing FS22 instead of a more recent one? Love the content by the way, nice and calming😊
AFAIK Fs22 is the latest on pc and console, the new FS23 is on mobile only.
My first purchase in New Lands was "all the public roads" for $0. Hahaha. Not sure what that's about, but interesting map.
Not sure what you are talking about at all.
First intro into farming sim. This is gooooooooooood. as in goooooood.

hi
Hello.
Hey man enjoy your videos. Just wondering maybe sometime you make course play tutorial.thanks.
It's to late now, but I have seen this seeder for $500.-- branded as Lizard....
It would be cool if we had super strength on console 😊
Can somebody explain: Why purchase leased equipment, repaint, repair and then sell it? Why not just return it? He had 30k in a pocket. After he got 25k. Does not seem to profitable deal.
The rules I’m playing by. If I lease something then I have to fully purchase it.
When you take time of you relly derserve a brake from all the videos you make😄😁😁😄🫶
I’ll take extra time off when we hit our goals 😉. I took two weeks off for Christmas.
@@FarmingSimSWU oh yeah Ok bur when you hit the goal take some little time of and enjoy
I enjoyed your rp. Full watch 👍
Nice vid when the next one?
What’s the map?
It’s called New Lands
I wish it was like this in real life 😢
Watching you take on so much field so under prepared was quite entertaining. I about died when you took off down the road hauling your first load of wheat with that small gator and trailer. :D
