Reason it was called the gurney bubble is because Dan Gurney was too tall to drive it, they adapted it and named it after him

Put so many test hours into the GT to make it what it is that beat Ferrari in the race. Ken Miles wins in my book.

The red hooks are not for trailers but to lift the car quickly and easily when changing the tires during a race
Enterchainment 1234 partly true. The red hooks are primarily used to tow a broken down vehicle
Edit: I mean for the car to be towed, not for the car to tow other cars

The #2 Ford Gt40 may have won technically but the #1 Ford Gt40 was the true winner.
Because of the 24 hours of Lemans race there is multiple driver changes during the race and the ease of driver changes speeds up the lap times
So it was extremely important to get fast driver change this was part of the reason the the car was so successful !
The red bits on the front are to jack up the vehicle for tire changes, and brake changes

Oh sure, offer stickers for Dan Gurney's car but let's not forget Ken Miles and his #1 car that was actually winning the race until they screwed him over. (That being said, it's a really cool build)
The main reason for that was the availability of black pieces versus the relatively limited range of light blue pieces

The red number pieces weren’t for transportation, they were for a special type of “Jack” used to lift the car to complete small maintenance jobs during the race. Unlike a regular “Jack” there racing variants didn’t require pumping a handle or the use of compressed air.

The gap, in the front bonnet, is for the hot air coming from the front radiator that's between the two red hook.
And yes, the hole in the roof is for the driver to enter easilly in the car.

At that size it would fit really quite nicely on the technic transporter.

The roof opening with the doors makes it easier to climb in quickly with a helmet. So you were correct.

The door does actually open like that on the gt40 it is a really unique design.
Computer Man it’s the same as the Lola’s it’s built on of corse
Its because its an American car so the gear stick had to be on the right other wise they will be confused and because LE MANS was done in France the car had to be right hand drive

The car looks cool but where are more Minifig Scale Star Wars Moc’s, like for example where is the T-70 X-wing or Tie Silencer and Tie Whisper. And just to add a minifig scale AT-ST Walker would be cool to go with the AT-AT Walker. So please put these on your Webstore.

So I’m wondering how I can make instructions that I could sell for my own LEGO creation.
Might you know how I could?
You could build your model digitaly with the free software studio (provided by bricklink).
That software comes with a PDF instrcution maker, so you can personalize your building steps and make intructions look like they where made by LEGO.
It´s a bit confusing at the begining, but after some time you will know where to set building steps.
For me it was really helpfull to seperate the model into it´s steps and make a "photography" intruction" before, by taking a shot of any building step I want to have in the instruction to make it easy to follow and use that as a guideline for the digital instruction.
It´s also helpfull to look over some original LEGO instructions before getting started to get a feeling what makes up easy to follow building steps, maybe take some notes.
If you have any questions about the program on how to handle it, I might be able to help you out. I´ll try to give you an answer.
P.S. I made a 223 sided professional PDF instruction file for the "TIE Striker" model brickvault sells on their webside ;D

This is really awesome but the headlights are throwing me off
U do realize that McLaren went in front of miles WHO WOULD OF WON if he was not cocky (and the 40 inches KEN MILES put wooden wedges in the car for less drag and also had parts that the in whole of the brakes came out for another)
This is a awesome Model but it would be wrong not to include the GT40's color scheme that Ken Miles drove in 1968's Le Mans.
