Intro to Natural Convection - Lesson 1

In this video lesson we learn that natural convection occurs due to a buoyancy force that acts on a fluid having density gradients due to temperature differences. The force of gravity also plays a large role in the direction of the fluid flow. The flow velocities for natural convection are smaller than for forced convection.
