  • From this tutorial ,viewers would be able to learn how to create a green house like structure and analyze the natural convection phenomena. This is a very simple tutorial. Meshing the geometry has been properly described in this tutorial. If have any doubt at any stage please feel free to ask.

    To model any problem we need to understand the problem first, for that you should provide detailed introduction about the problem and project outline, Boundary conditions, if you have any assumptions and simplifications in this model, Conclusion about your results, Suggestions about how to improve the result.
    Thanks!
    To add all you just need to give your background voice instead of music. Thanks!

    Dear, good morning, your video is excellent, it really helps me a lot for my college thesis!
    I would like please if you could guide me with the following. If I want to evaluate the impact of outside wind on the greenhouse by generating an enclosure or reciento, in that case I must make the external floor to the geometry or how to work that scenario to give a good mallado???? thank you very much

    Hello, I'm working with Ansys 19.1 and in the z direction I get equally sized elements, I can see that you get smaller elements at the extrems and bigger at the middle. Can you think why this would be so? Thanks for the videos

    • @AnsysTutor
      @AnsysTutor  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      you can check the sizing function in details of mesh, then change it to adaptive you might get the same.

    Thanks very much for your video! It's awesome! However, when I tried the same project. When I input mesh to fluent setup there was always error said "The mesh file exporter does not support overlapping geometry in named selections. Please resolve the issue and try again. You can use the option “Show Geometry in Overlapping Named Selections” (when you right click on the Mesh branch of the tree) to help diagnose the problem." Do you have any idea?

    Hi Ansys-Tutor, thanks for your detailed video! I made sure to exactly replicate all of your steps. I use ANSYS 2019 R3. I have one issue - could you suggest a solution? > I obtain a residual plot for energy (same trend as yours), but the x, y, z residuals have the value of zero throughout all iterations. Consequently I do not have any results at the contour plots.
    Would be great if you know what's going on!

    • @AnsysTutor

      @@AnsysTutor Thank you for the swift reply. However, I already set the air density (in Operating Conditions at the Setup step) to 1.225, so that could not be the mistake?

    • @AnsysTutor

    • @AnsysTutor
      @AnsysTutor  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You need to define the air as variable density instead of constant density. For this, you need to set the density to incompressible ideal gas so that you would experience the natural convection.

  • @hakamabedmohammed6497
    @hakamabedmohammed6497 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    the natural convection is based on the density change duo to change in the temperature so you just say the temp. of aside of the fluid domain is high ?
    >>>>
    you should specify the air as ( incompressible ideal gas )
    you should specify the contact region as a ( coupled wall ) to transfer the heat between solid and fluid
    you should simplify the model to decrease the time and the boundary condition
    you should but the gravity value to see the natural convection effect ?
    best wishes

      I've made sure I followed your tutorial video exactly. My cell zone conditions look the same as yours. The only thing I changed was "solid_wall" operating conditions. I set Y gravitational acceleration to -9.81 and checked the specified operating density (set to 1.225).
