Many mistakes are made very often, this shows how serious these mistakes can be. Some videos have even been cut short to not show any injuries.
This is a reminder of how important it is to obey the traffic rules to make the road safer for all of us.

That second clip was absolutely PERFECT for insurance! Showed they couldn't swerve, braked as fast and hard as humanly possible, had a green light, AND the truck definitely had a red. Amazing- oh wait never mind insurance will argue they should have seen the semi slowing down as a sign, silly me.
And it was his fault. If he had not left the house that day this would never have happened.

Watching these compilations has made me a better driver, honestly. I see myself doing the watered-down versions of some of these things and realize, "holy shit, this is where I could end up if I'm not careful" and that makes me more cautious when driving.
Me too before I used to cross green lights kinda fast. Nowdays I always slow down just in case.
Always think the other driver isn't going to stop for the lights, within reason.
When the 'spinner' hubcaps were popular, it caused many accidents due to people seeing the wheels still turning at stop lights, and then slamming on their brakes, just in case, which caused rear end accidents.
Same. I'm now overly cautious at any intersection or the highway
If someone needs to merge in front of me then I let them. It's not that important.

If he "intends to turn" when is he going to do it? The light is green when the clip starts, at 2:25, and the vehicles in the next lane are turning. The car in front starts to move but stops. It's still stopped at 2:31, _six_ seconds after the light turned green. That's why the other driver honked.
@@paulkennedy8701 everybody knows why he honked, but why the other guy decided to get out and argue is a mystery. Or maybe he was waiting for the green to go straight, not intending to turn at all by just overtake the cars going straight. Anyway the guy's a moron.
I was thinking about that one, maybe the car was broken down, couldn't move, and the driver was getting out to ask for help pushing it.

Been there in a box truck - you'd be surprised how loose they like to get in even relatively slow turns.

all videos like this prove is that im right to hate suvs. the amount of morons driving them. you dont need something that big and top heavy in an urban environment. especially when other cars cant see past them.
You should have to pass a test to drive them, they are not the same as a normal height car
@@jonathanryan2915 Just like you have to pass in a manual to drive a manual, there should be separate licenses for SUVs/Trucks. It is all about the vehicle size and height, which people tend to ignore

Burning rubber is synonymous with losing grip on the road. Having the keys to a sports car is different from knowing how to drive one.

9:09 Even though the ambulance driver has the right of way because his lights (and presumably sirens) are on, he still rushed through a red light in what looks like a fairly low visibility intersection. He should have slowed down to check if there is someone passing through, and so that people can see him and stop on time. You can't entirely blame the guy who crashed into him.
Can’t blame them at all… an ambulance still has to stop for a red light even with sirens on
@ThP - depends on law in whatever country it was. Appears to be somewhere in Europe. In UK ambulances don't have to _stop_ for red lights, but do slow down to check for safety - probably similar elrewhere in Europe. You can't presume laws to be universal.
yea, when I was learning to drive the ambulance, we were stressed to drive with due regard. stop at all red lights and make sure everyone sees us. there's 0 chance the car saw/heard the ambulance here, especially with all the buildings blocking the full intersection view. 100% blame on the ambulance. blasting through a red light like that will cause an accident far too often.
@@garp89 Where I live, emergency vehicles will get green lights. The system controlling the traffic lights turns the lights green automatically for the approaching ambulance, police car, or fire trucks. In other words, if you still collide with an amergency vehicle, it will be your fault, even if the red lights for you came somewhat unexpectedly.
Wrong. The driver who hits an EMT, FD, or LEO vehicle is always at fault. If the suspect operator was unable to hear the vehicle, his/her focus was not on the road or the rules of the road. A vehicle should always be considered a tool not a toy. If you wish to play with your vehicle, go to the proper venue. A public roadway is never the place.

2:25 I'm guessing what really happened is the Mustang broke down, and the driver was getting out not to get in a pissing match with the car behind him but to ask for help pushing it out of the intersection. It actually does move a little bit before stopping, implying the driver saw the green light but something went wrong. But the driver behind him thought it was about to get ugly and fled.

The government is the one that gave them the requirements for the rail, and probably told them exactly what it should be. Either the highway department or whoever's project it was didn't do their research, or they were being cheap.

Am convinced looser license requirements from covid have allowed people who shouldn't be on the road to drive. Used to be every few months I'd have to avoid a bad driver but now it's every other day, these videos remind me of that stay safe out there! 😬
