Many years ago, my family was coming back from visiting our grandparents. There was a truck with a crane on the back ahead of us. The crane had swung sideways and was mowing down light poles along the highway. The cement truck with the wayward chute really brought back that memory.
These truck drivers have to be an extra special kind of stooopid, eh? And after the cement truck, there was the clip of the dump truck with box up that hit the highway sign.
9:20 love how the car goes slow asl then the semi just sends it at about 60mph. It sucks when bad drivers want to go slow on highways and interstates especially on the left lanes.
sucks when people blame slowness instead of the actual problem...going too fast and being unable to slow down in time. you should have enough time to slow down to a complete stop if the person in front of you slammed on their breaks. if you can't do that, you are following too close and are going too fast. that's a YOU problem. also speed limits, are LIMITS. you are not required to go that speed. it's a upper bound of speed.
TL;DR: Roads are like arteries too slow or too fast you've got a problem. Driving is a privilege not a right! if you can't drive the speed limit or the same speed as traffic you have no business on the road. It's no one's fault if you have anxiety, scare easily, make poor choices on the road or just don't care about endangering your life thats a YOU problem don't drag others into it. I agree in most cases you should be able to avoid car accidents, however you're ignoring that when you slam on your brakes you open yourself to an impact from the back. That's usually a result of cars brakes failing, you having to brake in an emergency from something flying into your lane from oncoming traffic and even sometimes when tires blow and the car loses control how do you predict that? Or maybe the person in front of you is a prick happens to have tainted windows and you can't see the car in front of him when he decides to not brake and just change lanes, if that vehicle is going slow you're going to hit them. In the video you see a semi which is another thing semis don't have the ability to brake quickly, especially here in a merging ramp for an interstate that semi wasn't going fast that idiot was going too slow. When semis are going up or down a hill their brakes are heating up and likely to suffer brake fade and fail then that vehicle is rolling down hill with no way to act against gravity besides trying to flip the vehicle on its side. Honestly the person should be thankful the driver stopped after all a semi can just plow through that he has the video to prove he wasn't at fault.
@@fs5miFi1dM4u5 speed limit is a limit, it's not a requirement. if you don't understand this, then please for fuck sake go learn about the rules of the road. on that note, there are a FEW exceptions, aka some places DO have min speed requirements. however those are exceptions and not the general rule. you are right driving isn't a right, it is a privilege and a LOT of freaking people abuse the ever living fuck out of that privilege with their ignorant opinions on the rules of the road. again the problem is, if someone rear ends you from you stopping or slowing down, that's the fault of the person rear ending you. again they are FOLLOWING TOO CLOSE. that's the LAW, you are suppose to keep a SAFE distance from the car in front. semis are not any different, they follow the same rules as everyone else. semi drivers know how their brakes work and because they KNOW that they should also know to keep a SAFE DISTANCE AWAY. this isn't rocket science, it's really just personal responsibility. if you can't even be responsible with your own vehicle, you shouldn't be allowed to drive one around.
@@rocksfire4390 Speed limits are a required maximum speed on a federal level, states set their own rules however try to go above or below and you'll get pulled over for creating a hazard you may not like that but it's the way it's enforced because its logical. Cops won't stop someone for going the same speed as traffic, accelerating to avoid an accident or staying off the middle of the road while their yellow light turns red. In most states you have to learn the rules in school. I was required to learn the rules for a few months, take several test, do a 50hrs driving log with my parents, take a driving course at school and then had to take a vision/hearing test, written test and finally a driving test before getting my license. You say people abuse the privilege of driving well that's partially because of bad policing, the Dmv workers that don't care letting bad drivers get on the road, the lax rules for older people who shouldn't be driving anymore, people not being tested regularly, no testing on important skills like emergency stopping and regaining control of a vehicle. Also people's opinions do not make facts any different and if the cops see you creating unsafe driving conditions you should be reprimanded and punished accordingly. We both agree people are completely responsible for themselves so the guy who got infront of the semi is himself responsible for not creating distance between him and the semi why don't you mention that like I mentioned going fast, slow or too close is not ok? He was also going at a speed that doesn't allow traffic to flow smoothly at that merge he shouldve adjusted accordingly so should the guy in the merging lane. You can argue the semi should've created the space but the car infront of him had more space to avoid that accident by doing that himself. You say truckers should know how their brakes work I agree but people like guy in the car seem not to or ignore that. I've seen lots of people swing around infront of a semi to catch an exit and barely avoid an accident because they think "well he has brake he can use them" seems like the car infront of him assumed he'd be able to just stop that semi would've had to been going 20mph or less to stop they're heavy and I've heard the same things from a trucker friend and his dashcam videos always show him leaving at least 100 to 200 feet of space sometimes it also shows people going right infront of him to try and pass other cars.
@@fs5miFi1dM4u5 the person behind is solely responsible for keeping a safe distance, also that car was slowing down because of the 10 wheeler was trying to merge. the 10 wheeler slowed down because it wouldn't of been safe to merge with the car coming. the car slowed down because if the 10 wheeler didn't slow down they would of got crushed. the semi crashed into the car because it wasn't at a safe stopping distance and/or wasn't paying attention. everyone is at fault, the semi driver not being far enough away to slow down in time. the car for slowing down for merging traffic and the 10 wheeler for trying to marge with oncoming traffic in the way. i mean that merger lane is fucking dumb as shit, why isn't there TWO lanes to give the merging traffic enough time to actually safely merge......the entire shit is a huge mess of mistakes.

@@CJ_Jacobs thank you :D
@@RNG-999 He never said “irrelevant play by play” he just said the very last detail was irrelevant. And considering that the back wheels weren’t on the ground and their truck was totaled, they had no chance of getting it out of that ditch on their own.
Patience will save your life and others too..
1:08 the driver did that so casually damn
5:01 that motor cycle guy used up ALL of his life’s luck that day
9:36 Ok seriously WTF😳
Someone find me this area cuz this is a dumb a$$ intersection
Why even drive at that point lol
I know, right? That's insane
France 100% is France
I would not even drive. Too much anxiety just looking at that.
0:55 I did that with 8 x 16 blocks in a Pinto, back in 1984. Headlights were pointed almost straight up to the sky.
I had to pick up a pallet of tiles in a plucky little Peugot box van. Loading was easy as we JUST managed to forklift it in the back with maybe an 2-3 tumbs stop spare heightwise.
But I took almost 5 minutes to clear a 250 meter uphill road in first gear.
Probably unwarranted PSA:
I only had todo a mile (of carefull) driving, but it wasn't the smartest thing I did.
It dosen't take a genius police to figure out your car is overloaded, but it takes an idiot to not realise how much the dynamic of the car changes with such a load.
I like watching these to make myself feel better bout my driving
9:32 i love this clip, the way they all block each other is hilarious
1:08 is a perfect example of why you should never tailgate someone.
Honestly the person should be thankful the driver stopped after all a semi can just plow through that he has the video to prove he wasn't at fault.

speed limit is a limit, it's not a requirement. if you don't understand this, then please for fuck sake go learn about the rules of the road. on that note, there are a FEW exceptions, aka some places DO have min speed requirements. however those are exceptions and not the general rule.
you are right driving isn't a right, it is a privilege and a LOT of freaking people abuse the ever living fuck out of that privilege with their ignorant opinions on the rules of the road.
again the problem is, if someone rear ends you from you stopping or slowing down, that's the fault of the person rear ending you. again they are FOLLOWING TOO CLOSE. that's the LAW, you are suppose to keep a SAFE distance from the car in front. semis are not any different, they follow the same rules as everyone else.
semi drivers know how their brakes work and because they KNOW that they should also know to keep a SAFE DISTANCE AWAY.
this isn't rocket science, it's really just personal responsibility. if you can't even be responsible with your own vehicle, you shouldn't be allowed to drive one around.
@@fs5miFi1dM4u5
the person behind is solely responsible for keeping a safe distance, also that car was slowing down because of the 10 wheeler was trying to merge. the 10 wheeler slowed down because it wouldn't of been safe to merge with the car coming. the car slowed down because if the 10 wheeler didn't slow down they would of got crushed. the semi crashed into the car because it wasn't at a safe stopping distance and/or wasn't paying attention.
everyone is at fault, the semi driver not being far enough away to slow down in time. the car for slowing down for merging traffic and the 10 wheeler for trying to marge with oncoming traffic in the way. i mean that merger lane is fucking dumb as shit, why isn't there TWO lanes to give the merging traffic enough time to actually safely merge......the entire shit is a huge mess of mistakes.
LOL @ that dude who jumped out at a light to stand on the hood and broke the windshield of his super car! I had forgotten about that one, thanks for the reminder!
12:17 That is freaking terrifying.
9:33 that has got to be one of the most poorly designed intersections in the world. I'm not sure you even call that an intersection, I've never seen something like that before

Wow!!! Such a close call with the motorcyclist at 5:02 when the two vehicles collided by him.
1:10 that lane change tho

Yup, this guy is definitely dumb as a sack of hammers. Probably the guy you hear yelling "In the hole!" at golf tournaments.

exactly... maybe pay a little bit of attention when you're driving?
Also they came in waaaaay to close - at least one car didnt keep a safe distance

No you don’t, look at the size of his inflated ego of himself. He has to hop out of his expensive car in the middle of traffic and climb on top of it just because he thinks he is above everyone. Also look at the girl, she is half out the damn window. Anyone in their right mind would be embarrassed and hide from view if they saw their boyfriend doing that. Also shows that shes just there for his money.
1:08 you can't even be mad at this lmfao
2:45 Hi openly admits on camera that he hit the drunk guy intentionally in the face? No matter what happened before, this attack can get him into big trouble.

1..supercar windows are weak AF
2.Telephone poles and street light standards are nearly indestructible.
it seems that many people take driving too lightly. it needs to be taken seriously and that aggressive driving has no place on the roads we all have to share. i have to think that it's more young people doing it because in my 20's versus now in my 40's, i had more of that attitude to drive crazy (nothing as bad as this shit though)

I was one of those in my youth too. Still in my 30s and about 15 years calm.
When I see angry, it’s usually older people (50-60) who can’t drive their too big cars. I notice because I’m embarrassed for them. I live in a medium sized city with little traffic and these folks are pissed all the time. I hate it.
Bruh for real. We’re all too angry driving around thousands of pounds. Car crash going even 30mph can kill. Gotta chill with this shit. Arrive alive.
