What characterizes the ProLite series more than anything else is "THE Vintage Maple sound". Vintage Maple shell with re-rings provides an open sound and an enormously wide tuning range for virtually any style of music.
The maple shell is characterized by a soft, warm tone that emphasizes the low end and provides a fine balance in the midrange without compromising attack and volume.
SONOR's cross-laminated shell provides superior stability and improved resonance, a technology developed through years of research by SONOR's craftsmen. The drum shells have a narrow outer shell for optimized contact between the shell and drum skin, as Sonor has maintained in production over many years. The TAR Mount suspension system on drums provides increased resonance, and all drums have tune safe lugs that keep them in tune over time.
The drums sold here are finished in Natural Maple with semi-gloss (Satin) clear lacquer. Great wood in 100% flawless condition. The set has had a full service with cleaning, checking and lubrication of all parts. New Remo Emperor Clear on toms and floor toms. Original Sonor/Remo Ambassador Clear underskin. Bass drum has Remo Powerstroke 3 head and original Sonor front head. The set is like new - mint condition!
