Great job! Perfect one for me to watch today. Getting ready to use my new (to me) Cat 302.7D to widen one of our roads and slope the bank back on a hill side.
Had a tick bite a couple weeks ago, same geographical area. Took the single dose antibiotics - no problems. The deer ticks in our area are on the rise for lyme disease so I wasn't taking any chances. Next day I found two ticks on my jacket on the way home. Haven't seen any for a couple weeks though, fingers crossed. And I've been dousing myself with bug spray.
Yes, it was a beautiful day. I don't know the numbers, but the 40 is capable of building trail on very steep hillside. But even it has its limits. You have to be very careful. It is actually much easier to build downhill. You have the weight of the machine in your favor for blading. I usually try to just pick my way to the top and do the major finishing going back down. Thank you for watching, and have a wonderful day 😊
Thank you. Yes, I had my belt on. I use mineral spirits. Your have to scrub it little, but it works well, is cheap and doesn't hurt the pain. I just put it in a spray bottle. Thanks for watching, and have a wonderful day 😊
Looks like Tim is a forester. Sure is a good looking stand of trees. Nice work, as always Jeramy.
Tim manages his land very well.

Very cool. To me, that is the fun stuff. Thank you for watching, and have a wonderful evening 😀
What state are you in? Those hills are incredible‼
Oregon. We have some rugged country in places. Thanks for watching, and have a wonderful weekend 😀
I sure hope your lunch was not too crunchy after the tumble in the dirt. Beautiful country but I can't help but wonder how bad the ticks are.
Yes, it is beautiful. Lunch was still mediocre as usual. Haven't seen any tics yet, but they are here.

@johnoswald6192 I hate ticks. Luckily, I don't ever get them in the cab 😅
Looked like a beautiful day! How steep a trail/road can you build with the 040? And I’m guessing building uphill is better/easier/safer than downhill?

Nice video and country. Bet you had your seat belt on for that hill side. What do you you use to get the excess grease off your machine?
