This would be cool to see a whole movie done in this style on the mummy subject. If a real modern movie company made an authentic movie with the 1950s panavision 70mm technology with same set design, lighting, wardrobe, acting styles, etc of the period, that would blow other movies out of the water by being unique and fresh by taking it back to what really sells: passion and dedication to the art of filmmaking instead of reliance on cgi, ai, etc. The human touch is really what is needed and this would be something cool to see done. This would be something I’d pay to see in theaters!
It would be pretty awesome if a filmmaker did something like this. It would be really unique twist on an old yet modernized 50’s style film. I hope one day we will see that in Hollywood.

The original "The Mummy" movie had Boris Karloff as the mummy. I think it was in the 1930's. The three "classic horror" villains were Dracula, Frankenstein, and the Mummy (and occasionally the Werewolf). Grew up watching them on late night TV. Very effective AI in general.
The Mummy with Brendan Fraser is a remake of a movie that came out in 1932. There were 5 mummy movies altogether. The last one coming out in 1944. Hammer remade the Mummy in 1959. They made 4 of them. The last one coming out in 1972 Interesting trailer, but there was already a version of this trailer. And even though this has more action since it's based off of the Brendan Fraser one, the story itself is the same.
This AI produces some beautiful looking women. A breath of fresh air in these days of blue haired, tattooed, pierced harpies that have saturated Hollywood now.

There was that 2009 movie, "The House of the Devil," that was deliberately made to look like an old 80's style Horror movie (they incorporated filming techniques of that era to give that LQ vintage VHS audio/visual sound/look respectively.) The 2011 Oscar winning film, "The Artist" paid homage to black&white films from the silent era and was mostly a "silent film" for the majority of the movie. So I think it would be interesting to see a full length modern movie that is deliberately made in the style of this particular video clip.
