NEW Acura GTP LMDh Testing at Road Atlanta

Acura testing their 2023 ARX-06 GTP LMDh IMSA Weathertech SportsCar Series challenger at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta at the first LMDh test open to the Media.
The Acura ARX-06 is built off of a Oreca chassis just like the ARX-05 and has a 2.4L Twin-Turbocharged V6 similar but not the same to the next IndyCar engine regulations.

Rumor has it that it deactivates one side bank of cylinders.

Some kind of anti turbo lag system. The old Mazda DPi made a similar sound but nowhere near as aggressive

The sound off throttle is the anti lag system. It does resemble the F1 motor accelerating out of corners. Higher RPM’s compared to last year. Looks like a strong contender.

Well it's a v6 thats why, honda doesent make V8s for any road car so they wont be using one unlike some other competitors who dont have this restriction, bmw and cadillac are using a V8 cars

90° high rpm V6, but it's a 2,4 Biturbo without Turbocompounding, while F1 has 1,6 Singleturbos with Turbocompounding

@@shivamarya5225 Its not a Road based engines anymore. Its a purely racebred V6 2,4 90°. Its not the old 3,5 Biturbo Van Engine anymore. This engine is very very likely to be the New Indy engine as well.

i believe that sound coming out from the off throttle anti-lag, it can be setup and adjustable, and it can be even more louder
