I'm laughing so hard I'm crying! Some of these were genius and your retorts were every bit as funny. I'll have to watch this several times to commit some of these to memory. Thanks for starting this morning off on such a high note. Both of you gentlemen have a wonderful week ~ Chuck
Dagnabbit Paul, your thumbnail scared the heck out of me! I too remember those olive green mail boxes on the corners, back when we had twice a day mail delivery. Twice a day newspaper delivery too, and radio and local television. Those were the days.
Time Stamp 03:37. My son, who is now 45 years old.Asked me, what was to him, a serious question. (Dad, what was it like before color? It must have been sad then.) It took me a min. We had just been going over black & White photos from a scrap book.
Hahaa! That was one of my favorite jokes watching my grandfather feed that to the grandkids. Then I saw it in a Calvin and Hobbes cartoon. Still just as funny!
Some really great roasts there for sure, loved them all. Oh, by the way, the Dewey/Taft announcement may have been the gold standard for modern day news. Hey Paul, I got a roast, albeit late: One things for sure, you won't have any blurry photos of this one driving past you! 😆Thanks for the enjoyable video, loved it a lot! I hope you and Bob have a great weekend, oh and Model T too!
love Ford Model A I'm actually working on one right now needs not to work trying to fix it up but yeah does anybody out there that can help me with this project I'm new to this kind of stuff but yeah I love these cars I love your videos they always help me like taking the belt off doing tinkering with a love your videos
The Model A mail truck is cool. Remember it was a rural delivery truck not an urban truck and vehicles at that time did not go much over 40 mph because rural roads were poor. They had postman walking a beat back then in cities. No vehicles except between the main post office and outlying ones and a lot of the between city mail was transported on trains. Could mail trucks be electric if designed for that function? The need is mostly slow speed but the with the need to stop and go frequently. Getting underway is what uses the most power. You would be surprised how quickly batteries drain under those circumstances. Maybe a solar panel on the roof to help recharge the batteries would work? I really don't know but a battery mail truck is not a slam dunk proposition as it may seem. I think with current battery technology a hybrid would work best. A very small internal fossel fuel engine to recharge the batteries.
From a retired letter carrier: those green street corner boxes are called distribution boxes. They are almost obsolete, but can probably still be had....
that mail truck got roasted. alrighty mr shinn i got a question when i press the gas pedal on my model a in first gear sometimes it takes off and goes other times it snails at 2 miles an hour mainly when down shifting. i know I've still got some sort of timing wrong because the car only starts at full advance. what in the world have i done wrong. i ask prolly too many questions because i got no idea what im doing.
Kids? The average Redditors I know are in their 20’s and 30’s and grew up using 4chan… The teenage kids who are afraid of everything wouldn’t be caught dead on 4chan… it would hurt their feelings.

Geez. That click bait picture
Ah, Reddit! It’s like Mos Eisley in “Star Wars”: “Never will you find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.”

I actually still have a relay box (those green things that look like a mail box) about a block or two from my house.
Great! Which post office is in charge of it? I'd like to inquire. Maybe they would let me buy it and surprise Bob for Christmas
