So many of us go down this road. It’s a hard lesson but I’m glad some of us have to travel this road so that we can better ourselves. No more friends and parties for me.

Not every folks are like this but May this he a learning lesson for the ones that always go out. Your children and your wife/husband should always come first.
I have never seen that cov pab thaa, nai npaab, and whatever title that is out there for leader wannabes ever done anything positive for the community but destroy marriages and earned themselves a bad record. When will you guys realize that you're not leaders? You're just what we called cov thawj qhev....running around and run errands for people, spent your hard earned money for beer and alcohol that will lead to long term health conditions. That is the major dilemma in our community; the social/drinking environment. A husband does not realize what he had lost his special gem until it’s gone. Remember to love ❤your family first. When you’re in trouble or your life is completely messed up, your friends n outsiders will not come to your rescue. No one wants nothing to do with you when your life comes to an end without your wife. You poured so much outside than your little family. An awesome lesson learned.

It seem like all these "adults" who married during their teen years (90's) are the ones partying like crazy now. I have people who I went to high school with now who are crazy about these parties. Every weekend they are partying! 😂😂

Don’t say all, because I along with many others who married during our early teens in the 90’s are not partying crazy like you said. Those of us that don’t party know our priorities and boundaries. We are more concern about working for the betterment of our families and not partying every weekend.

This is called mid-life crisis.😀 These people married too young. They didn't get themselves a chance to party when they were young and get the party life out of their system before marry. Now they are in their 40's, they are acting like they are in their teen. Very sad...
This is why I don’t go for looks, and this is why I never put 100% in friends or family. They only there for the good times and the ones who wants your life is the closest people to you.

All I know is this is a lesson in life you will learn, as for me, I retired from those functions already long time ago. Even it’s a church group, groups, social or family groups. People will be people. Only from time to time I will pop in and out! True friendship means love and you have each other’s back! Now and days there’s too much drama! I learn not to have too many friends. That’s why I learned to be happy with myself and my immediate family only. Friends and others may come and go. But, you gotta to know who is the most important person in your life. Thanks for sharing your lessons in life. I’m glad you found another wife to love. Good Luck!

A very good story May. Ys, I believe that we have to know how to balance between our families. Community, and friends. If we don't, we can't lead our families and the community. Leadership comes from inside the family to the outside community is the right way for me. I have to be the driver n trust myself, and don't trust someone too much. Family has so much priorities.

This is what happened to some people when they have too much to drink and at time considered outsiders more important to them than their own family. This is the reason why I have decided years ago to let friends go and stay home to take care my family to avoid this type of headaches. No sympathy from here, you got what you deserved. 😊😊
