Such a sad story especially for the children that got brain washed by their evil dad and relatives.
Most Hmong divorces end up like that. The husbands give the wives hell and cheat on them, beat them, and then turn them into the bad person. They lie and manipulate the kids turn the kids against the mother. It’s really sad when there are no civil relationship. It’s both mom and dads kids, be civil with that, love them together as a parent. I’m sorry for your loss, your mother didn’t deserve to be treated that way.

Sad story, but money will tell who really loves you, aka mom. I wouldn't give the step dad the 20k after he takes you to court.
When his mom told him to change the name of his house, I think the mom already knew that the step dad was very capable of trying to steal the house. But I wouldn't give the step dad any money because he paid for the mortgage of the house not anyone else.

Best way to divorce is don’t fight, just put restraint order n get custody of your kids. There’R ways your mom can fight for her rights of her kids but maybe she don’t have the well power, money or connections to ppl who can assist her. In her case, she could of easily won her kids. It’s unfortunate hmoob ppl don’t have organizations at the time to help domestic abused women. In mekas laws, they almost always side with the women, even if she cheated first, she still can win custody over her kids….. HINT: women R more nurturing than men. If the mom is not druggie or endangered to her kids, she can easily take the kids away. Any hmoob mom in same situation, fight for your rights! Do it for the sake of your kids! There R many mekas organizations out there that will help domestic abused women. When hmoob community can’t help you, take it to the next level… justice is there for you. Good luck.
