Thanks! Really appreciate the video! Such a disappointment. One of the nice things I like about the Hohner is the coil spring. It's never broken. I've broken many traditional springs.

Coil was the word I was looking for! It's true, but I suspect the coil is also responsible for the reputation as a noisy slide.

    Video muy interesante Gracias.
Una pregunta. Llevan tornillos en las placas de lengüetas ? Las dos o cuál lleva tornillos para poder desmontar completamente ?

East Top requisitions, copies, makes a few adjustments and underprices via cheap labor. How long can that business model work?

They seem to be doing alright so far. I think there is room for them. They will never out compete the quality of Hohners and Seydel, but they offer quality for beginner not looking to spend. Which is your favorite brand?

Your lighting is not so good. And the radio or TV in the background is annoying af. Almost unwatchable.

Sorry about that! I will give you the short answer. They are not interchangable, at all.

Thank you for your video, I saw and heard everything perfectly.
I would have liked to have heard both being played side by side for comparison.

@@mrblues364 Thank you for the kind answer. I would say the difference in sound is mostly due to different reed materials and set up. The CX12 sounds like a Hohner. Brass reeds that are excellent set up. It has a floating, dream like sound. The Easttop has bronze which to my ear is the most neutral of reed materials. It sounds precise and balanced, but lacks the dreamy resonance of brass. The set up is below excellent.
