I love Hering Chromatic Harmonicas . I own 2 Hering Opus Chromatics which with 45 years of Professional experience are the best 12 holes. Also every key in the Charlie Musselwhite 12 hole. And one Hering 64 Professional Chromatic which is STRAIGHT tuned ( Lightning fast) . Hering in my opinion should get a lot more attention. Absolutely amazing.

Im aware The super chromonicas can be surface sanded and so forth but i just never got around to it.

Your not the only one, my dads The Super. Chromonica leaked like a sieve! The valves were all curld up. I played it anyway. I took it apart. I reasembled it. It still leaked like a sieve! I got tired of it. I played it without the covers with my guitar on a coat hanger. I just wish I knew how to do valves so I could have saved the darn thing.

I play the Symphony 48. The Symphony series is very unique: each cover can be removed individually. Likewise the slide is easily removed for cleaning. Only complaint: the factory windsaver glue is a bit weak. I use Pattex extreme now (which is not a super glue).

Thanks for the review. The acrylic configuration (comb color is transparent green) comes with a half moon mouthpiece. The comb color in this video is gray and not transparent green. But the mouthpiece is a half moon configuration?
