I nearly gave up finding a reader without the ominous, doom and gloom, distracting, unbearable background sounds. And then I found Sir David. To say the least, I was totally dumbstruck and overwhelmed with joy. What a precious gift out of my Father's hand! Thank you só much! His soothing, respectful rendering makes it possible for me to listen nonstop without losing concentration. (I live alone with much pain and when I cannot sleep because of it, I listen to sermons, and now also these readings, right through the night. It was impossible for me to listen to the readings of those who use background sounds, maybe because of nerve damage. I am still in wonder of such great a gift.) Thank you forever!!! 🌴
This man of God has the most pleasant voice to bring forth the Word of God...I was diagnosed with PTSD and this is the only one I can listen to without anxiety. Thank you Sir for obeying God.
@Nothing But Love I'm sure u mean well but until you have a daughter with a traumatic brain injury after she was beat in the head with a hammer and left for dead and lose 3 grandchildren at the same time and your mom and lost your job that you planned on retiring all in the same time frame... I would say it's circumstantial. But thanks for the suggestion.

Great readings. please anyone who is willing please pray for me and my wife and our children who we are really being tested by (ages: 10, 5, 2) just so hard to get them to sleep lately and they are testing us , our patience, everything really in what feels like to a degree and in a quantity that is more than normal. I don't know but we are seeking wisdom, strength etc etc. your prayers are welcomed, requested and we thank you for them. I know it won't change your situation, but I just want you to know that I totally empathise with you.
I have 5 children ( now grown) but between 1992 & 1998 I had my 4 boys...life was an exhausting blur of physical, emotional & mental exhaustion.
Every minute of every day & night.
My 2nd son's autistic & he never slept & cried incessantly & nothing we did could console him.
I will certainly pray for you all!

Just remember they do grow and they grow fast and one day youll wake up and they will be all grown up doing there own thing in life having there own families and youll miss the days when they wouldnt goto bed and you had to read a million bed time stories to get them to bed. My babies are all grown up now and what i wouldnt give to do it all again i miss it now. Point is it doesn't last long and appreciate it while they are still young....

How beautifully Sir David presents the Word.. as if Living, more than words on a page. I seek a closer walk with God and communion with Christ. Reading with "focus" is hard for my brain. Sir David lets me "live" the word. Thank you, you good and faithful servant.
