Nice video ❤️. I have been using cassia Obovata for the past maybe 2 years to deep condition. Ever since the first time I used it I noticed a huge difference in the health and texture of my curl pattern. I normally mix the powder with a moisturizing deep conditioner, honey, and sometimes an oil like JBCO and olive oil. I use a cassia gloss dc at least twice a month, once every two weeks, on freshly cleansed hair. This treatment will help to define your natural hair pattern and make it more manageable, also help to retain length over time. Great for people who are protein sensitive!!!! Just had to share 🙏🏽
I loved the video. For those who watch and want to try this or henna. Listen Linda! Do not! I repeat do not! Go in with straight Cassia or Henna. Ease yourself up to it by adding a tablespoon of the mixture to your deep conditioning, add some oils to the mixture, etc. This is a strengthener. Which means you could strengthen your hair and I don’t know your hair type. But it could cause your hair to be hard, break and you could see breakage right away with lots hair shedding. Ease your hair into it.
Cake Nicole the best way to combat the dryness is to add oils and some conditioner to the mix. Henna is very strong in it proteins. That’s why you’d experience dryness. And you’re totally right. Frequency should be about once every 8 weeks. Like a protein treatment.
christine1962ful it depends on porosity and what shape your hair is in. I would recommend doing a gloss in place of a mask if your strands a fragile/fine. I would do that once a month unless you see you need it more often. Always follow up with a moisture rich treatment. Every time. Hope that helps🙂
Brilliant video. Sent it to my sister. Yemeni women use this every other week. They call it ghasl. Many have very tight curls due to the Ethiopian genes and the hair can be dry. Ghasl is perfect for that.
This hair treatment is such a valuable beauty secret! It's a lot of work especially since I have Asian hair which is thick but so worth it. Helps me to get rid of buildup on my scalp, irritation from dry scalp and restore some more body to my hair

Use shower curtains from 99 cent store instead of towel for the mess.

i’m loving your channel & all the ingredients + info!! ❤️❤️
Do you prefer this or henna?
How often do you do this method and what time of the year to you find it most beneficial?
How long have you been using this product? And if you have been using it for a while how long has your hair grown?
Can I use this powder in place of the two ingredients henna growth oil you made?
I've watched a couple of ur vids & I'm noticing that u dont mix ur powders w other powders. Any reason for that, TIA, thx
How long have you been using cassia?
Wonder if this can be used on locs ???
Do you do this every week?
Great video
Love your content. You sound Jamaican.
Thank you and yep I am =) Your the first to notice lol
I clicked like as soon as she said “do do” 😂😂😂
I do the henna indigo two-step treatment to get black hair. Could I still use cassia as an oil powder? How would it affect my hair colour??? TIA
It won't affect the colour the henna and indigo would over power the cassia.
@@AnneMichelae thank you. I've been avoiding using the cassia but will try it out. 🙏🏾👸🏾♥️
Defines curls huh? 😗let me check it out
Can you mix with henna? Or is it beneficial to alternate with henna. Thx
Uhhhh id alternate because henna is permanent. You can do that to fortify the hair and then do touch ups here and there with cassia
I have completely straight hair so using it isn't going to make them look curly right? 😢
Nope
Is this a protein treatment?
Well it acts just like it
strengthening.
So is this like for moisture or like a protein treatment??
strengthening
