When I make my shampoo recipe, I add aloe Vera juice and powder. I love it! I have been using herbs to shampoo my hair and I was SHOCKED by how clean they get my hair. I made the switch because traditional shampoos tangle my hair. I’ve been loving the curl definition from the herbs.
Now that my curls are now more defined, people ask me what do you use on your and i tell them “check out Henna Sooq.” They have so many amazing herbs to clean and take care of your hair. Even my bf is curious about what I use and wants to try it.
Hi! Big HennaSooq fan here! I've been buying your products for 2 years now, I transitioned 3-4 years ago, and discovered Ayurvedic herbs and oils. I use brahmi, bringaraj, amla, Henna, cassia, fenugreek, moringa, Hibiscus 🌺, shikakai, rhassoul clay, etc. (Not all at once, don't worry! ) I love ❤️ your Henna glosses. I'm afraid to use Henna on its own, but I'm thinking of going for it before 2018 ends (my henna expires then). I have very thin low porosity hair so I was worried about the henna making my hair dryer. Your shop has the best quality Ayurvedic products I've seen. I need the Canadian site to have more stock, please. Thank you for this great video! Oh, I love the Honey conditioner! Great 👍🏽 stuff!
Arabesque Jacob absolutely! Do let them know of any special requests for products you may have. We also have lowered prices drastically to Canada. Thanks again!! Also do you have a page where I could see how your hair has turned out?
So glad you will be doing live streams so we can ask questions. I missed this one but have been using your products for several years--great quality! l plan to make the next one😊
Hi Kaddijah You mentioned Cassia pulls out a gold tone in grey hair. I would like to use this mask for moisture in between my “henna for color treatments”. My greys have a reddish tone. Will it affect my previously hennaed greys?
Hello! It probably won't do anything to your greys since the red tones are stronger then a golden deposit from cassia. I'd definitely say you can use the masks in between with cassia and any other ayurvedic herbs.
So informative I do use amla and fenugreek powder from India for hair growth and it works so well. Thank you khadija for explaining about your products looking forward to use your goddess hair blend because it's your favorite and I too love 🌹... Lots of love ❤😘
I thought that medal was a no but it's for Aztec clay, or bentonite clay you can't use medals. When I use my herbs I always do a deep treatment, because of the drying effects.
Yes that's true clays should not be mixed with or kept inside metal containers or packages. For henna, it's different as they are a leaf powder. They are safe with stainless steel since they have no additives, chemicals nor compound henna or metallic salts.
Thank you for the tips. I used henna gloss following NowiamNappy recipe and added aloe vera powder. My hair is definitely stronger, it shines, it's not as hard as it was 9 years ago when I stopped using henna because I think I didn't know how to use it properly. The aloe vera powder is a game changer. Question : I did the porosity test and noticed that even after 20min my hair stayed on the top of the water ( I'm high high porosity). Is it the henna ? I would like to understand how and why it happened. Am not complaining ahaha, it will be easier to take care of it if the cuticles are closed. Less work to do on them (hydration every 2 or 3 days and shrinkage!). Thank you.
Welcome! Awesome. That's interesting. I wonder if the porosity test does change based on what's binded to the actual hair. The porosity test isn't always 100% too for some people we've heard. I approach each person's hair based on how it's responding and through treatments etc... I love seeing people's hair in person :) Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much. One thing for sure am in the ayurvedic hair treatment. Thank you for the channel. I am learning about the way to mix the ingredients and new herbs and powders. I will try cassia, bringraj. Brahmi is my best friend ahaha.
I've noticed for sure when I was hydrating my hair that it took more time to hydrate them with my spray and my leavin. Even without the porosity test, I'm really impressed about my hair . It stronger and I think my cuticles are not as opened as they are. Just to make sure , I didn't do the tea rinse I usually do after shampoo. I was thinking that with the ayurvedic treatment, it's not necessary ? (Corrct me if am wrong please).
Hi I had ordered 2 sukesh packs from your website they did't come in the packing that you showed in your video or had your logo , it was a foil type pack and when i opened it . I did not see any instructions or ingredient . was just wandering if you had changed your package, i purchased it at the begin of June 2020. I also love your videos
Hello. Yes they come in foil packaging currently. We have changed packaging types a few times. Next time we get Sukesh in August it'll be different again as well. We have instructions for Sukesh here: hennasooq.com/sukesh-ayurveda/ We hope this helps :)
@@HennaSooq what would happen if you did? Just curious! I'm just a bit of a theory and practice kinda girl and like to know the pros and cons of everything! Would 8t just not do anything or would it cause a type of shade and if so what colour?
No you probably won't have to deep condition if you found all these ingredients deeply moisturizing enough. Definitely Cowash with our cleansing restorative cowash and then moisturize, dry and style as usual.
I have Gray's but not looking to get colour from the cassia. I do the 2step henna/indigo to get black hair . How do I use cassia? I have a big bag and don't want it to go to waste. Also, can I still use henna glosses? How will it affect my 2step indigo coloured hair??? We need a special series focuses on those if us who colour our Gray's with indigo in terms of the best hair masks, shampoos and glosses to use. Unfortunately im to worried to test on my hair so still using store bought shampoos and conditioners. I will use bentonite and rhassoul but not too often as I've heard horror stories of them clogging up drains and pipes. Also, I will make oils infused with henna, amla, brahmi and fenugreek but that's it. I'm also wondering if I have to step back from using indigo and going for the darkest brown so I can follow your tips for normal use of henba. Will it cover my gray's??? Really hope you can address my concerns as I'm sure I'm speaking for other gray haired ladies. Love you, love your channel🙏🏾♥️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤
Hi sorry for my delayed reply. We are so short staff, that I've had no time to come on youtube much at all. Cassia can sometimes deposit golden tones. We have a new series coming out too. Super excited about it! Yes you can use henna glosses as well. It may just deposit a reddish tint too. Yes our henna and indigo will cover greys. Let us know if you have any other questions or update me on your progress.
Ive been doing the sukavesh auryuveda from your website on unwashed hair and shampooing after. It makes my curls pop, strong and shiny. Should i be washing first? Seems like its working fine on my dirty hair
Dear Khadeeja Love and greetings from Pretoria, South Africa. I use a henna mask on my hair to cover my greys but also as a protein treatment. This is done once every 6 weeks. So may I use this particular mask that you are showing us in between my henna mask or will it be too much protein? I do moisturize very well so my hair isn't dry. Can you let me know please.
Omg where have I been🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️These videos are very informative for natural hair health🤗

Can you use indigo with cassia for turning grey hair black?
No cassia won't work to give indigo the colored based it needs, that henna gives.
