Did the HennaSooq Amla powder make your hair feel hard and tangled? That’s what it feels like on my hair..:( but everyone says how amazing Amla feels on their hair. I simply haven’t had that experience at all. As soon as it touches my hair it’s like my hair repels it!😩 I’m wondering if I should try a different brand..
Blake Alexander this specific brand did make my hair feel a bit hard. I wanted to like her brand of Amla. When I use SBC my hair feels soft and nourished.
I've made Several Chebe products. A whipped leave in conditioner, 2 butters,1 cream, infused oil, A leave in conditioner and a butter that's Chebe and Ayurveda ingredients. I love them all. I rarely try anything outside my tried and true routine. This has been a pleasure surprise.
You give the best advice and you're always informative. Because if you, I've added Amla & Henna to my hair regimen and I've noticed a dramatic difference. Thanks CP
I chose henna because of my gray hair. I use indigo and henna. I will mix in some aloe and amla as well. Just a touch so as it doesn’t mess with the dye release. I love hennasooq’s herbs but their last crop of indigo was a bit weak. They mentioned it was hard to get their shipments the past couple of months. Understandably. I was told new fresh herbs are coming in August so I cannot wait.
Parvathy Lakshmanan I mix 1/2 cup of fenugreek seeds with a cup of hot water cover to steep overnight then pour into blender with 2 tblsp olive oil until it’s like a whipped butter. It’s creamy and slippery. Wash my hair rinse then apply mask once I’m out of shower. Wrap my hair in plastic bag and put a turban on top for a natural heating effect. I usually do it on a Friday night and sleep in it. Wake up next day and rinse it out. You’ll find that you’re going to shed a bunch of herbs from seeds as your hair dries. So I recommend you lay low or wear a hat. Once it dries you should be able to get most of it out. Small price to pay for longer, stronger, shiny, bouncy hair. I haven’t put any heat on my hair for past year either. Good luck and stay safe.
The only thing about chebe i don't like is it chebe is so hard to come out 😞. Hunni baby boo my curlz were so defined and moisturizerd. I made a chebe oil just to apply to my hair. Henna is bae bae bae 😍 💕 I'm never leaving.
I tried all 3 and Henna makes my hair Strong! but I am comfortable and see results with the rice water. Last weekend I used Ambunu herbs for a conditioner along with aussie moist and it gives my hair all kinds of curlage! (if that's such a word.)
I just love your hair. Your very attractive, but your hair sets you apart. You need if not already a spokeswoman for hair products. Your face us so nice, and you have an engaging voice. Go for it
Is it just me or do you look a bit like Amy Winehouse. My eyes are funny today. Anyway I’m thinking about trying Chebe, dyed my hair burgundy and I’m worried the henna mask will change the colour. What do you think? I think I’ll keep up my henna hair oil though.
Thank you so much for your videos. I’m just starting on my long hair journey that’s been thinning and shedding. I started by using black rice water, hibiscus and green tea rinse, and Amla in my deep conditioner. The results were amazing. Thanks again ♥️
The best treatment I use is neem oil mixed with rice water together on wash days fore now is every two weeks and I have growth from mid back length to tailbone length stretched. And I mostly leave it in a one or two briad style. Hopefully this helps 😊
Chebe loosened my curl Pattern sooo much I stopped. I did not have a tightening effect at all. Amla is good for that. But literally chebe made my hair straight. Im 3a.
i have henna, fenugreek, aloe vera, amla, shikaikai, brahmi all in powder form. I usually mix them with a deep conidtioner or with coconut oil. I would also love to know more about how often we should use each of these herbs. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I forgot I also take MSM.
In some videos I've seen that amla has more conditioning properties and fenugreek has conditioning properties as well but mostly strengthening properties like a protein does
Farida! I have been watching your channel for years and years now, and if I were a smarter woman I would be approaching tail bone hair like you, but alas, I am not. I want long hair, but I also wanted to play - changing it up with balayage, Brazilian keratin treatments, too frequent straightening, etc. I seem to get bored after every 2 years or so and just need to do something with my hair! 🤦🏽♀️ Well, I am finally ready to take this seriously, not color it, not cut it, not straighten it, etc - so I am ready to try Henna. 🎉🎉 My question for you is, which henna should I try? You have recommended quite a few, and even from Hennasooq there are different ones in different colors I guess? I looked at theirs, SheaCottage, HennaGuys... and I just don’t know which one to get. I don’t want red hair, but would actually love it if my hair turned the color yours is in your older video (the thumbnail with the French braid). I think that color is soo lovely. Was that with the Shea Cottage Henna? Any suggestions? I don’t want jet black hair either. My hair is a very dark brown as it is, and I don’t want it darker. Thank you for all you do and I love you! Muah! 😘
Im extremelly curious about Henna. However I dont want streight my hair. What I understood it suppose to happen. I have decided to use Amla. Trying as a tea. Lets see what happen.
I’ve never used Henna but I’m not too keen on the colour aspect. Would love to try Chebe and see how that works on my hair. Love me some Amla especially in my DIY Deep conditioner.
I was literally about to order tons of herbs for my hair today and I realized I have like 1lb of senna I haven’t used in 5 years, unused henna and bentonite clay. I’m just not a kitchen-tician anymore. I’d love to henna every two weeks, love it but it’s work.
I added Shikakai, arithra and rose powder to my Rhassoul clay to cleanse my hair before doing my henna-indigo colour treatment. I thought they would work well together since the 1st 3 ingreds are saponins! I really liked it and my hair feels soft! Still waiting for indigo to be washed out.
Great hair growth information. I'm not natural but all of this information is very helpful with hair growth and hair health. I've been following this lovely young woman for about 3 years. Love her advice....
Hey Farida I love your videos!! I’m so educated on growing my hair long and healthy thanks to you ❤️ Just a kind suggestion, maybe you cold consider acquiring a lapel mike or small mike that can enhance the sound. Sometimes it’s really difficult to hear if I have no headphones. I like to listen to your videos while I do work and random activities without headphones. Thanks a lot and God bless 💕
Hi CP, I'm really enjoying this series!😊💕 Henna(among other herbs) has really made a difference in my high porosity hair. Lately I've been on a fenugreek and hibiscus kick, with great results! I ordered a shampoo infused with rice water, I'm excited and nervous about trying it. Ambunu is next on my must try list.
Thank you!! I added Amal to my mango butter. I made my fenugreek oil with essential oils and combined that with mango butter and Amla. It feels like a nice butter. I apply this butter mix to my hair after after spraying with Aloe Vera as my leave in conditioner. Is this a good technique? God Bless!
Hey Sis, I am so excited about your series this far! You have definitely helped me a whole load with my hair journey, and I am loving all the info too. I have been trying all of those in different sequences, and it has been amazing. I wish I could just trim my own hair, and there were more natural hair care stylist who can do and use these natural ingredients and remedies where I live in Maryland. But we shall continue to spread the knowledge you drop 😊 Also have you ever made Fenugreek Creme for your hair? It is amazing. I mix it with Olive oil, and then store in fridge to then add to DC, Henna, or even scalp with spritz.....awesome sauce! As usual, you look amazing, 😍😘🔥, and continuing to cheer you on❤️

Hi Ms. CP, how do you feel about Neem powder? Do you have any knowledge on that? And also would recommend doing one for a week and the switching it the next week but keep that same routine month to month?? If so, how you schedule your routine?? I know....21 questions lol sorry. But thank you for possibly answering and more importantly thank you for all these informative and wonderful videos!! 😘 you are the best girl
Thanks for all you do queen😍. Although I've had long healthy hair most of my life, the added oils, herbs and teas have improved and maintained the integrity of my low porosity heavy waves/curls with less frizz when humidity attacks me😄. I love your tea pot😁.
So you're saying i can use henna & chebe in a DC? My hair loves both but I was afraid to incorporate them at the same time. I would do 1 & take a break for a month & then the other. Thanks for always giving us such wonderful natural hair knowledge. I shared your avocado & banana dc with oils & herbs with my sister....she said her hair has never been that soft. Please keep the video's coming 🥰
I’ve watched a woman that said that chebe made her lose her hair and have balding when applied to the scalp, so idk if maybe it’s not the same for everyone but maybe that might be an important disclaimer
I am addicted to you so every herb you have suggested I used...i don't want long hair just thick and healthy which I have and these products help tremendously...i no longer use shampoo and conditioner i only use natural herbs to clean my hair lol I cut it all the time because I only want it thick and healthy....thanks for always sharing ❤ 😘

CP... I'm just now seeing your video and hearing of these herbs to use. Where and/or are the best to use? I did not see a link to amazon for these products.
My cabinet has more ayurvedic than store bought products cause of you. My hair is thriving. I'm here for any more tips😉 How often do you wash your beautiful hair?
So, I’ve been using your hair growth oil since October of last year, and GURL, when i tell you after six months i barely had to trim anything (Im talking a literally dusting of only centimeters) and my hair grew 3 inches with no breakage....I literally cried. 😭😭😭 But I am using Cassia in the oil mixture and an interested in starting to use it in deep conditioner. Does using Cassia instead of Henna elongate the curl? I know it doesn’t build up on the hair overtime like Henna, but does it work basically the same as henna except for the dying factor?
Its from her video titled: Super hair growth oil DIY. The video was made five years ago. I just called “super hair growth oil” or “beast mode hair growth oil.” I used a more simplified version that I found on NICKYBNATURAL’s channel called “DIY EXTREME HAIR GROWTH OIL” and I sub out the commonly used Jamaican castor oil for Haitian castor oil.
Thank you for all those amazing videos !! I was wondering how can we combine henna and rice water? My hair loves rice water but I’d like to also use henna in my routine
Can you also give some information on MSM and what vitamin c to combine it with.. I was going to purshase some but noticed there were two kind acid and non acidic and what MSM would you recommend?
I recently encountered your TH-cam and have enjoyed your videos, especially as you seem very knowledgeable about the products you are using. I’ve tried to incorporate all the different techniques / products into my routine but not sure if it’s too much. I know in the video you mention products that can be mixed together, but wondering if some should not be used while using the other. For example, if I incorporated rice water in my aloe Vera pre poo, is it ok if I used a henna, amla mix mask followed up with a hydrating deep conditioner?
In her earlier videos a couple years back, she actually used henna, shakiki, and amla as a spritz for her hair, and attributed it to her growth as well. So I think that with the Amla alone, you can use it as well. Look on her channel for her hair tea/strenghtening spray.
Loved this video! It had everything in one video. Have you ever heard of herbal hair oil mix by Food Herbs? I just got it. I have it marinating with Amal, fenugreek and aloe Vera powder. Thinking about adding some rosemary. Thanks again!
@curlyproverbs Thank you so much for these videos! I’m on a growth journey and these have been really helpful. I’m looking to purchase the Chebe, but the link for the US doesn’t take me to the product. Do you have a brand recommendation that’s available in the US?
Love this girl!! @curlyproverbs have you ever thought about doing an extreme quarantine hair growth routine where everything is taken into drastic measures since going out in public is out of the picture, and going for weeks without washing, dealing with stinky onion juice for days, crazy diy's for maximum benefits etc is now a total possibility?
Curly Poverbz have you ever used black rice water instead of the white rice water? Also if you have tried black rice water, would you ferment it after you rinse it? I want to try it but I'm unsure.
I heard rice water shouldn't be used on low porosity hair strands (root to tip) and if it's to be used, it should just be the scalp(for lopo hair). Is this true please
It depends how protein sensitive you are. If you are deeply you may only be able to use it once every 6-8 weeks, making sure you wash and condition first and then deep condition after.
Don't use that cleanser every wash day, use it when your hair needs a cleanse, like a detox. So yes you should go back to a shampoo but make sure it's a moisturizing shampoo
Put Amla in your deep condish, honey! Throw in some Bramhi and avocado oil and...OMG!!! THE GROWTH!!!😍💕💖
Girrrrl tell em!!

@@ttramm3014 Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. Very kind of you do let us know. 🙏
I just found you and for some reason, all I know is *you're gonna save my hair* :)
Oooooh really! Might have to give that a try. Thanks for sharing hun x
I just ordered my Ambunu today. I am so excited to try it
Tannika Jadoo ladies? What are ambunu herbs.
I don't know what I have done wrong rice water breaks my hair within 1minr
@@NikaJad1 what are those herbs, and where do you get them?
Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ she's back!!! 💕💕💕💕💕
Has anyone ever told you that you look like Leona Lewis? 🙏🏼❤️ love your hair manshallah
Thank you actually once or twice people have said that.
She does. Omg
She really does!!!!
I just love your hair. Your very attractive, but your hair sets you apart.
You need if not already a spokeswoman for hair products.
Your face us so nice, and you have an engaging voice.
Go for it
🙏🏽.! My hair has grown but the shrinkage is real
Yess I'm so here for this Dope Series!!👍🏾✔📝💖 Thank you for this.
You're welcome and thank you for sharing.. 😊
Your hair is gorgeous. I’ve only used rice water which surprisingly grew my hair. Thank you for sharing.
You're welcome and thank you.. x
The best treatment I use is neem oil mixed with rice water together on wash days fore now is every two weeks and I have growth from mid back length to tailbone length stretched. I have wavy/cruly ethnic confused hair but I am happy with the journey, thank you for your tips really help so much 😊 I also drink msm powder and vitamin c power mixed together it has helped.😁
Hallo. As a leave in or how?
@@solaadeakin8338 no I wash it off but I do leave in for 5 to more hours and then wash off the same day. I do it every two weeks and after washing with only my regular tressume anti-brackage shampoo I put my mane n tail herbal gro leave in conditioner a lot especially my ends. And I mostly leave it in a one or two briad style. Hopefully this helps 😊
Thanks maam. More growth
Chebe loosened my curl
Pattern sooo much I stopped.
I would love a video on which of these you can mix together and which you should not mix together. I have made black rice water and use as a rinse or refesher spray. I would also love to know more about how often we should use each of these herbs. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I forgot I also take MSM.
That’s my question too, because I read somewhere that fenugreek is a protein. Do you think alma is also a protein
@@deescott8312 fenugreek and amla are not proteins
miso liso has ok thanks
In some videos I've seen that amla has more conditioning properties and fenugreek has conditioning properties as well but mostly strengthening properties like a protein does
Dee Scott fenugreek, like henna strengthens the hair, alma and cassia are more moisturizing.
I was just thinking about you, hoping you were gonna drop another video 🥺💖
My spirit must have heard you xo Enjoy
My question for you is, which henna should I try? You have recommended quite a few, and even from Hennasooq there are different ones in different colors I guess? I looked at theirs, SheaCottage, HennaGuys... and I just don’t know which one to get. I don’t want red hair, but would actually love it if my hair turned the color yours is in your older video (the thumbnail with the French braid). I think that color is soo lovely. Was that with the Shea Cottage Henna? Any suggestions? I don’t want jet black hair either. My hair is a very dark brown as it is, and I don’t want it darker.
Thank you for all you do and I love you! Muah! 😘
Henna all day❣️❣️❣️
Im extremelly curious about Henna.
You can use casia in substitution of henna
I was literally about to order tons of herbs for my hair today and I realized I have like 1lb of senna I haven’t used in 5 years, unused henna and bentonite clay. I’m just not a kitchen-tician anymore. I’d love to henna every two weeks, love it but it’s work.
Yes, rice water is a game changer for me. A perfect balance of strength and condition. Next ill be adding chebe grease
Another fantastic video in the series! Thank you for explaining what can or should not be combined. Thank you Queen!💜
You're welcome my darling..xx
I'm true believer in Chebe, Love this series. Girl Ambunu you gotta check it out!!!
Where can I get ambunu...
I checked Amazon and it was not there

Do you strain the leaves and then use the mixture? If not, how long does it take to rinse the leaves out of your hair?
@@shebatemple1084 the ambunu,? yes I strain it and then use it.
@@allylamala Thank you.
I bought Chebe bc of this video 😂. Sooo excited 💥.
Hey Farida
I love your videos!! I’m so educated on growing my hair long and healthy thanks to you ❤️
Just a kind suggestion, maybe you cold consider acquiring a lapel mike or small mike that can enhance the sound.
How do you make/use the fenugreek and hibiscus
Can we once and for all debunk the myth that your videos can get too long????? Now back to hair things👏👏👏
Muhumuza D&G thank you so much for the love..❤
Loving this series!!! Thanks Farida xo
Than you for watching boo!
Thank you!! I added Amal to my mango butter. I made my fenugreek oil with essential oils and combined that with mango butter and Amla. It feels like a nice butter. I apply this butter mix to my hair after after spraying with Aloe Vera as my leave in conditioner. Is this a good technique? God Bless!
Yes!😁 So thrilled for this episode!

Yaaaaayyyy FINALLY... Been waiting on a video.. Thanks for coming through CP..
I’m loving this series. Thank you. I’m late to the Ayurvedic world. I started in April of this year and I’m trying lots of products to develop my regimen. These videos really help.
You're welcome... xx
You're welcome and thank you for sharing...❤
So you're saying i can use henna & chebe in a DC? My hair loves both but I was afraid to incorporate them at the same time. I would do 1 & take a break for a month & then the other. Thanks for always giving us such wonderful natural hair knowledge. I shared your avocado & banana dc with oils & herbs with my sister....she said her hair has never been that soft. Please keep the video's coming 🥰
I’ve watched a woman that said that chebe made her lose her hair and have balding when applied to the scalp, so idk if maybe it’s not the same for everyone but maybe that might be an important disclaimer
I shaved my head, I needed a fresh start. So I’ll be using them 🖤
Love your channel...binged watched all your videos. Thank you x
Aww, you're welcome and thank you for sharing..❤
Please try moringa powder. I love it as an addition to my deep conditioner.
God Bless you! Can you do a video on those of us that are transitioning
I have a lot of damage started in March ( last relaxer) and am doing everything you have suggested not going to give up just need to believe it will happen for me hair like chin length
Your beauty is on the inside too for being transparent about your journey and encourages all of us
If you want to use rice water how would you use with Chebe powder. I recently started using Chebe in my conditioner with aloe Vera juice... Not sure when to use rice water? Love your research and information!!!!!
Loving your vids! When can I use one of these treatments with regards to my hair routine? Is it before or after a cleanse? Thanks 😊
THIS is what I wanna know! The differences..What goes with what..Where do I start??? Was lookin for chebe @ Indian store got Amla & Fenugreek seeds...then 3 n 1 Amla, Reetha, & Shakakai😵...while my Aloe leaf is soaking 🙆🏽

You're welcome and thank you... God bless you too..xx
Thank you for another OUTSTANDING video!
CP...
I'm just now seeing your video and hearing of these herbs to use. Where and/or are the best to use? I did not see a link to amazon for these products.
My cabinet has more ayurvedic than store bought products cause of you. My hair is thriving. I'm here for any more tips😉
How often do you wash your beautiful hair?
So, I’ve been using your hair growth oil since October of last year, and GURL, when i tell you after six months i barely had to trim anything (Im talking a literally dusting of only centimeters) and my hair grew 3 inches with no breakage....I literally cried. 😭😭😭 But I am using Cassia in the oil mixture and an interested in starting to use it in deep conditioner. Does using Cassia instead of Henna elongate the curl? I know it doesn’t build up on the hair overtime like Henna, but does it work basically the same as henna except for the dying factor?
WHATS THE OIL CALLED
Its from her video titled: Super hair growth oil DIY. The video was made five years ago. I just called “super hair growth oil”
or “beast mode hair growth oil.” I used a more simplified version that I found on NICKYBNATURAL’s channel called “DIY EXTREME HAIR GROWTH OIL” and I sub out the commonly used Jamaican castor oil for Haitian castor oil.
Thank you for all those amazing videos !! I was wondering how can we combine henna and rice water? My hair loves rice water but I’d like to also use henna in my routine
Loving these videos, so practical, I really needed them. What rice powder would you recommend? I’m based in the U.K. Thanks x
Can you also give some information on MSM and what vitamin c to combine it with..
I was going to purshase some but noticed there were two kind acid and non acidic and what MSM would you recommend?
LOVE YOU SIS! YOUR VIDEOS ARE THE TRUTH!!!
Thank you..You know your girl loves you too..❤❤
Would adding chebe to a henna mask decrease the potency of the henna? Thank you 😊.
Your hair loves tons of protein. My hair is a bit protein sensitive.
STOP your literally reading my mind❤️❤️❤️
❤❤❤
My problem...inconsistency, which I'm nothing without😫 ... Time to work on that. These herbs and oils really worked when I was!
These videos are great! When you use Amla as a tea, can you use it as a daily spritzer?
Great question, I would love to know
In her earlier videos a couple years back, she actually used henna, shakiki, and amla as a spritz for her hair, and attributed it to her growth as well. So I think that with the Amla alone, you can use it as well. Look on her channel for her hair tea/strenghtening spray.
Nyotakikora1 Thank you! I’ll check out her previous videos.
Yasssssssssssssssssssssssssss I couldn't sleep waiting for this!!!!!
Oh for real! Dang you a real one!!
@@CurlyProverbz Amazing knowledge as always>3!
Hi love, ty so much for ur amazing videos. Question: are you using a different mic? I can barely hear you.
Thanks for all the info, I have lots of the herbs and sometimes unsure which ones are safe to use together.
You're welcome love..x
Finally here. Awesome series. Does it mean when using amla in a max u can't use it in an oils for sealing in moisture?
kristie Nwonu correct
Curly Poverbz have you ever used black rice water instead of the white rice water? Also if you have tried black rice water, would you ferment it after you rinse it? I want to try it but I'm unsure.
Such a great a video!! Thank you again for this!!
your hair is soooo defined my love
Thank you..xx
Always like then watch👍🏾😃🥳 thanks for your videos🤗🤗 I feel so educated about hair after watching your videos 😃😁🤓🤓🤓
You're welcome and thank you..😊
I heard rice water shouldn't be used on low porosity hair strands (root to tip) and if it's to be used, it should just be the scalp(for lopo hair). Is this true please
No becuz rice water is beneficial for retaining hair length
It depends how protein sensitive you are. If you are deeply you may only be able to use it once every 6-8 weeks, making sure you wash and condition first and then deep condition after.
Is it okay to use henna, Amla, chebe as part of your deep condition routine weekly?
Yes
Henna might be drying weekly unless you’re mixing it with a lot of things
Mix it with oil ...honey ....conditioner..then a good moisturizing leave in cream
Lolo Future yes thank you. The deep conditioner consist of aloe Vera ,banana, Avocado, and some essential oils...
Sammy Breezy thank you
Just starting using Rhassoul clay as a cleanser and my curls were poppin!! Can I use as my cleanser or do I need to switch back to shampoo eventually?
Don't use that cleanser every wash day, use it when your hair needs a cleanse, like a detox. So yes you should go back to a shampoo but make sure it's a moisturizing shampoo
