THIS LEADER WAS ARAB AND BLACK AS ONE SHOULD EXPECT AS THE ORIGINAL ARABS WERE BLACK
Saheeh Muslim book of Leadership narration 1733
I heard the Messenger of Allah may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him say: Whomsoever from you is appointed by us to a position of authority and he conceals from us an amount as small as needle or even smaller than that, it would be considered to be embezzlement and will bring it forward on the Day of Judgment. The narrator says: A jet black skinned man from the Ansar stood up it is as if i can see him right now and said, Oh Messenger of Allah, take back from me your assignment. He said, What has happened to you? The man said: I have heard you say so and so. He said, Verily I say that now, Whomsoever from you is appointed by us to a position of authority should declare everything , big or small, and whatever he is given he should take, and he should restrain himself from taking that which is forbidden.
Further clarification of who this VERY black skinned person was can be found in Musnad Ahmed which revealed that this man from the Ansar was Sa’d Ibn Ubaadah the LEADER of the Ansar tribe .
Musnad Ahmed Chapter 4 page 191 Authenticated by Shiekh Arnoot on the conditions of Saheeh Muslim.

BLACK IS NOT A RACE AND NEVER HAS BEEN. BLACK IS A COLOR AND THERE ARE DIFFERENT RACES OF PEOPLE WHO ARE BLACK.

Many Arabs of the time may have been racist. It's difficult to overcome cultural indoctrination (however wrong or pernicious it may be). We should remember that one of the greatest Sahaba was black - Bilaal RA, and once Prophet sws told Abu Bakr RA, that if you've made Bilal, Suhayb al Rumi and Salman (i think) angry, I'm concerned you've made Allah swt angry.
Also Abdul Rahman ibn Awf's sister was married to Bilal RA. For those who don't know, Abdul Rahman ibn Awf was Qurayshi, and also from amongst the Ashara mubasshara.

@@forgetfulstranger Bilal ibn Rabah is one of the most revered companions in the Islamic world. Starting out as a slave, Bilal became the first muezzin of Islam and was appointed a seat in the Prophet’s government. A truly inspirational man and story.
Many Islamic historians that specialise in companion biographies say he had dark brown skin and was quite tall and slim. Bilal was one of three siblings.
Life as a slave was tough for Bilal. So, when the Prophet brought Islam and started telling people, they are all equal, that was naturally appealing to Bilal and other slaves.
Bilal’s honesty and integrity were noted by the Prophet, which is why he became the treasurer of the Islamic state. He was in charge of distributing funds to the most vulnerable members of society, such as widows, orphans, travellers and anyone who did not have the financial means to support themselves.

What does the color Adam mean?
Ibn Mansoor Al Thaalabi said in his book Fiqqatu Lugghah wa Sarr ,page 448
”That the colour Adam is blackness in humans and when referring to camels it means whiteness”

In Kitaab Al Alfaadh by Ibn Sakeet in the Chapter of colours, page 153 he said،
‘ … from the the jet black men , and he is Shadeed al Udmah” in other words and from the people who are jet black in complexion they are also called Shadeed Al Udmah.

In Musnad Ahmed Ibn Hanbal , Chapter 50 page 488
The Messenger of Allah may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him said, And the description of Moses may peace be upon him : ” And I saw Moses intensely black skinned”
The words used here are Asham Adam which in another example which shows us how Adam and intense blackness are related.

I'm glad this is being discussed. However, what we understand to be black today isn't what these habits are referring to. The Arabs were not white. Nor were they European looking. They were brown. Some might even call some of them 'black'. The prophet's mother was a 'black' woman.

Hadeeth's are all questionable. The first one emerged 200 years after the Prophet's saws death. By word of mouth aswell. We call this Chinese Whispers. Arab scholarship is Racist, and should not be trusted. In Senegal they have a saying, "Na Yakne deeni". It means "the Arabs ruined Islam."

Muhammad wasn't being racist about his saying to the Arabs obey your ruler even if his head is shaped as a raisin because there's actually Africans with heads shaped as raisins, so it's actually correct and it's like Jesus saying obey your leader even if his skin is yellow and his eyes are slanted then you ask Christians, is this a racist statement ? absolutely not, Jesus pbuh and Muhammad pbuh were both just pointing out racism and tribalism and to obey your rulers if they look different and aren't Arabs or Hebrews even if their skin is blue black and albino also yellow skinned with slanted eyes or red skinned Europeans.

You forget Arabs were enslaved too
Zaid Ibn Harith was an Arab slave
Suhayb was kidnapped by Romans and got enslaved
Slavery is multiracial but I won’t deny Arab racism especially against Africans although not in Islamic behavior but old habits die hard since pre Islamic days

''And in the hadeeth Ali .. A man from the Mawaali opposed him so Ali said , '' Shut up you son of a red Ijaan '' ,meaning son of a slave woman. The Al Ijaan is the area between the anus and the scrotum or vulva'' and this is the way the Arabs talk when being derogatory and insulting’'
