Thank you for this very interesting video, Kevin. You demonstrate perfectly well that the simplest defense technics are often the most effective. Most of the time, when we have to fight in streets, we don't have time for elaborate self-defense technics. Our main goal is to get rid off as quickly as we can of the assailant. And if there's more than one assailant, simplicity and speed are more essential than ever. Just a few seconds can make all the difference between to overcome the opponent or being dominated by him. Again, thank you very much for this video. I learned a lot, hoping that I'll never have to use these technics. But we never know...
RANDY JUDAH TORREZ ❤< Those self defense moves are dangerous 😳 Even at the end of the demonstration when you put fist into hand👊✋️the look on your students face was priceless👍 😆 🤣 😂😅
EXCELLENT JOB VERY HARD TECHNIQUES WHICH DOWN THE ROAD IF YOU RISKS WILL SUCCEED BUT TO SUCCEED IT TAKES A LOT OF WORK AND A LOT OF PRACTICE THANKS FOR AWESOME JOB
I FOLLOW YOU BECAUSE THE SELF DEFENSE TECHNIQUES YOU TEACH ARE REALLY REALISTIC AND VERY USEFUL IN A SERIOUSLY ENGAGED SITUATION AND WHAT YOU DO IS TRUE THERE ARE MANY VIDEOS THAT CAN LEAD YOU TO SELF DESTRUCTION HOWEVER YOU ALWAYS TRULY EXPLAIN WHAT CAN ACTUALLY HAPPEN THAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE WITH RESPECT FROM GREECE@@Selfdefensegoat
Great video about countering a very common attack. Also I’m a little jealous of Chris’s thick curly hair. I had a beautiful loaf of hair like that at one time. I am really enjoying your expression of martial arts and self defence.
@@JoelHuncar It's only hair, don't worry about it, it doesn't matter. And in a fight it's a total liability: people can get hold of it and control your head while they beat the bejesus out of you; and people can set fire to it and, while you're busy putting it out, beat the bejesus out of you some more.😊

Goat= great work.
Good techniques. So many other options too; gunting, arm wrap, elbows, etc. Really depends on style and what you train & prefer.
Exactly. Spoken like a true FMA man
8:11 my favorite moment
Nice video, thank you! Will have to practice some ducking with my shorter students, too!
Good call
I’d follow with the right elbow & it’s night night
Sifu Goat, are you ever in the Tn. Ala area?
He's 6'-4". I'd suggest a head-but and and eye-gouge against his tiny opponent.
Hard to do when you’re taller
