I have found that the first step in getting things done is taking that first step. Find your domino chore. That’s the chore you do that gets you fired up to do more. I think if you can find the desire to actually declutter, you honestly will feel better. When your surroundings are decluttered so is your mind

I think sometimes, when a person is in constant depression, you have to evaluate everything going on around you. I don’t want to hurt your feelings in anyway. But from the outside looking in, for such a young mother, you have to much on your plate. I don’t pretend to know your whole situation, and I know you love your family. I guess what I am trying to say in the nicest way possible is- why are your mom and siblings living together with you and your husband? Maybe if y’all lived separately, it would be easier for you to keep your home cleaner, less laundry, less dishes and you wouldn’t be so depressed. I’m just stating this, because I’ve been in the same situation. It’s not easy to admit that this situation could be part of the depression. Not bashing you or your family. Just something to think about.

I had four kids and no help, and now I watch my two grandkids a couple days a week, who are about the same ages as your two littles, and some of those same overwhelming feelings I had felt as a young parent are returning. Make a list of your washing days, there are a lot of them and you need a whole day to do it. If you try everything at once you won't be able to handle it! One thing that helps me with the dishes is not being held hostage. At the dishwasher, I wash everything in the sink because the machine takes a long time and while it washes I get more dirty. So washing in the sink whenever it gets dirty is promising.

I'm so sorry you're having some down days. It's so hard to do anything when all you want to do is get in bed and pull the comforter over your head. Your children are so young that it's hard to have a day off. I congratulate you on persevering to get your tasks done. I grew up in a messy house. We had a very small 3 bedroom 1 bath house with 7 people. My mother was very clean, but the house looked like a tornado went through it. I'm still working on a system that works for me. I'm not very disciplined, so it's difficult for me to implement any sort of system. Laundry is a never-ending journey. I don't mind laundry so much. I just hate that it's always there. I so wish you had a laundry room, so you wouldn't have to see it all the time. Are you still taking classes this summer? Hope your schedule slows down a bit so you can catch up. You're doing a great job balancing everything! Take care, Linda 🦋

I used to clean homes and had two of my clients who were similar to this young lady and not once did I walk away or think the worst of them. If she were to get someone to help her out once a month I feel like it would help her situation a little more especially because she is willing to change her ways. Doesn't mean it would completely go away but it would at least help her mentally and if she's open to the person and they have an open mind then I'm sure they'd be willing to help her out. Let's have some compassion for one another.

I'm really enjoying your narration. You really are dealing with alot, it is like you have several full time jobs, including childcare, managing a household, taking classes, coping with mental health issues, etc. I am so glad you are participating in therapy. You have many strengths and good insight, and you know when you need help. Please DO NOT feel like you have to answer or respond to all the comments. I personally do not expect any response, because you already have too many things to take care of. Some content creators put pressure on themselves to respond to comments and they burn out because they cannot keep up with it. It is enough energy and time that you spend filming, editing, and narrating. You do not have to respond! With love from a loyal subscriber and grandma.💗

Hey sweet friend! You have a precious family. I can relate so much to things you’re going through! My kids are now in their late 20s. But when they were little I quickly came to the end of myself and realized I needed help.
I started having a quiet time of prayer/Bible reading every morning. In this time I would talk to God and I felt His presence. He began to heal me and give me direction on a daily basis.
There is a fantastic Bible teacher named Joyce Meyer. Her videos are on TH-cam and are free. She had a very abusive childhood but has been delivered/healed from her past. She’s super funny and relatable. I listen to her often and always come away encouraged.
Just remember that God loves you so much! He sees all your going through and cares about every detail of your life!! I’ll leave you with two promises from Him❤ John 3:16 and Romans 10:9. God bless!!!
