I've seen multiple outpost videos and the one that I found most impressive is the use of habs connector and turned it into bathroom. Totally going to steal your idea for my outpost. Can't wait to see your next video.

All of my builds are freestyle off the top of my head. It's definitely my style. Love your build btw.
Freestyle is fun! Often I'll start with a plan these days, and then end up freestyling it to fit the landscape
Folders as placemats and a card as a coaster is big brain. Stealing that!
Nice! I used to jettison those things out my cargo hold by the dozen when I was editing ships, now I find myself hoarding them in every color like they were aluminium because they're so useful as outpost decor

Very nice build, I've been struggling to do anything nice with outposts after 400+ hours, I loved building in Fallout 4 but it just feels like so much of an after thought in Starfield. But this video as given me some inspiration to try again. Wish me luck!
Good luck!! I felt the same way when I was first looking at the new system, but once you play around with it, its remarkably versatile. There's a lot more furniture items to start with in this game, and the large variety of junk objects scattered around the game add a lot of possibilities too.

Ha thanks! all the keyboardless monitors were killing me till i picked up one of those trays, The lab on Kreet has become my go to spot to farm them whenever I start building another office

Nice, my out post I placed a room over a toxic floor and now i get sick inside.....i even had one where the rock appeared in the middle of the room.....going to relocate them......one of the best is when the door glitches out and do not need to open you just walking and out....latest out post so far has 6 resources, and learned to do cargo link for aluminum, so now the outpost has all the recourses I need. I also had aliens come in the room, some how crawled in, lol Next is to try out making a farm with creatures.
If rocks or trees spawn inside one of your habs, putting a floor mat over it in the hab or on the floor outside if the landscape is invading from just outside the hab walls will usually makes them disappear, and stay disappeared, even if you delete the floor mat or furniture afterwards. Unfortunately I have yet to find a fix for the toxic vents though

I placed rugs on the second floor of the 2 story hab. Just left an opening for the stairs. Now i can walk over or place more items in the middle.

I can never seem to find a beach area like this with the small ponds. What type of landscape is this and can you see the water from the planet scan?

I haven't been able to reliably spot any water from space yet besides the oceans, but have started to find more water as I travel around. This one is a swamp biome on Hyla II, I believe in the same cell as the camp you visit with Andreja if you've done her quest, I'm pretty sure I walked along the large lake near that landing spot till the landscape opened up again and found it out there.
One thing that sometimes helps when looking for good locations, is to find a high point, like the top of a mountain, then jet pack up as high as you can, and switch to photo mode. You can use that to do a pretty wide visual scan of an area to see if you can spot any lakes or other interesting features

Sadly the water is biological and unsafe. The most useful inorganic resources are aluminium, argon, beryllium, and lead, you can also farm sealant with the greenhouses
How did you get the armillary inside? I couldn’t build it inside any habs
