    FINALLY SOMEONE WHO PAID ATTENTION TO THE DETAILS! I have heard this by various folks over 40 years and YOU are the only one to have listened and transcribed it so well... Kudos. I recommend you to ALL!!!! Many thanks!!!

    • @jojolouis
      @jojolouis 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      SO TRUE! That attention to details might not be important to some, but it's those details that makes me understand the difference between a "guitar scratcher" and a great guitarist i.e.: someone who makes MUSIC!!!!
      Check also the intro of Hotel California on this site for details that makes that makes ALL the difference ! And "Angie", and.......etc......etc...

    Best lessons on TH-cam. Bar nobe. Why? Because he doesn't talk at all. He just plays through the song once at speed, then he plays it slowed down so we can learn the chords/fingerings. I can only imagine how many people these lessons have helped immensely. Thanks, brother.

    Finally! After practicing for over a month, I can play the intro! I'll always muff a note or two, as I'm not a great player. But that's OK. Many thanks Andy for taking the time to produce this fabulous lesson. A handful of songs on my setlist are a bi-product of your tutorials.

Always starts up with a nice historical perspective of the song and demo that he's going to teach. Pushes the commercial part the least of most TH-camrs! Thanks Andrew. I make my tutorials available to everyone for free because I don't like excluding folks who may be facing some kind of financial hardship. Music should be available to all. Thing is, nothing is really free right? @philipatkinson6036 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    What a master teacher you are. Note the black, the superfluous voice and the total focus on teaching? No ego or anything to detract from the lesson. Incredible detail that evidences his expert musicianship. I've got more in the month since I discovered this man than in the prior 30 years of strumming. In every lesson there is something with a wider applicability. We may not want the theory but it's there woven in. Doesn't ask for a dime but deserves it more than any teacher. I'll give you a donation periodically. You're a fine human.

At times injuries make it difficult to play for months at a time and I'm always starting over. I still haven't completed 1 song yet on guitar but one day I will. I greatly appreciate your beautiful tutorial, after quitting for at least 6 yrs my callouses have all but dissapear, found riding my Harley part of me but no satisfaction in my soul. Today I tried to play this song and my fingertips are soft as a baby's butt, oh lord, I sort of got it but it's gonna take me at least a month to rebuild callouses on my old Alvarez, I tried on my Strat but found it just as hard, I know that it's not until when you feel needles in your fingertips is when callouses are coming up. Thanks you are very talented.

    Seriously amazing job getting every little detail. You're the best guitar tutorial channel on TH-cam by far.
    Certain channels (cough martyzsongs) just give bare minimum but you always put in every little detail. Great job.

      |Jake|C| Thanks for the kind words Jake. Marty is more geared to folks who are just starting out and my stuff is more for guys who've been playing a while. The beautiful part about youtube is that there's something out there for everyone, no matter where you're at on the skills chart so it's all good bro! cheers

    This lesson and song is just incredible! Thank you for all of your lessons. I watched your Mississippi Queen tutorial extensively which was very helpful understanding phrasing somewhat better. Thank you for all of your efforts!!

    Very nice tutorial presentation technique, the blackout background directs focus on the hands, fingerboard, & strings. Split screens also very cool...well done.

    This is the most genuine and authentic version compared to others found on TH-cam. Outstanding tutorial which will simplify the upcoming practices on my acoustic guitar (besides your Back in Black from AC/DC tutorial that made me subscribe to your channel!). :) I'll shut up and go...practice. In the meantime, keep up the great work!
