Incredible detail that evidences his expert musicianship. I've got more in the month since I discovered this man than in the prior 30 years of strumming. In every lesson there is something with a wider applicability. We may not want the theory but it's there woven in. Doesn't ask for a dime but deserves it more than any teacher. Just picked up my daughters fisher price pink guitar. I don't know how to play guitar so I found this video to learn. I have my work cut out but I think I can do this. I'm glad there are chord charts all over the internet and free tuning apps. There is one missing sticker that labels the notes of the strings but just figured out that is the 'G' string.

I follow quite a bit of channels on here but none are as good as yours. I don't play as much as I should but want to dedicate more time this year to playing guitar if my body allows me to. At times injuries make it difficult to play for months at a time and I'm always starting over. I still haven't completed 1 song yet on guitar but one day I will. I have always like songs that picked through chords. I subscribed instantly. Thanks for the motivation.

I greatly appreciate your beautiful tutorial, after quitting for at least 6 yrs my callouses have all but dissapear, found riding my Harley part of me but no satisfaction in my soul. Today I tried to play this song and my fingertips are soft as a baby's butt, oh lord, I sort of got it but it's gonna take me at least a month to rebuild callouses on my old Alvarez, I tried on my Strat but found it just as hard, I know that it's not until when you feel needles in your fingertips is when callouses are coming up. Thanks you are very talented.

I greatly appreciate your beautiful tutorial, after quitting for at least 6 yrs my callouses have all but dissapear, found riding my Harley part of me but no satisfaction in my soul. Today I tried to play this song and my fingertips are soft as a baby's butt, oh lord, I sort of got it but it's gonna take me at least a month to rebuild callouses on my old Alvarez, I tried on my Strat but found it just as hard, I know that it's not until when you feel needles in your fingertips is when callouses are coming up. Thanks you are very talented.

Certain channels (cough martyzsongs) just give bare minimum but you always put in every little detail. Great job.

Very nice tutorial presentation technique, the blackout background directs focus on the hands, fingerboard, & strings. Split screens also very cool...well done.
This is the most genuine and authentic version compared to others found on TH-cam. Outstanding tutorial which will simplify the upcoming practices on my acoustic guitar (besides your Back in Black from AC/DC tutorial that made me subscribe to your channel!). :) I'll shut up and go...practice.
