@donovangraphicdesign have you ever tried a freebord before? It took me like 2 weeks just to learn how to ride it. Your right sliding is easy (once you learn) but at higher speeds you need the bindings to keep you on the board as you alternate edge wheels, with a longboard you just go straight. So yea, you dont need bindings for longboards but you need them on freebords.
@samueltennis It's a freebord, not a longboard. There are an extra pair of wheels under the board so there are 6 wheels instead of 4 wheels like on a longboard. This makes it way easier to slide. It looks a lot like snowboarding.
@dubcoastgroms its a freeboard, not a longbaord, it has an extra sat of wheels underneath the tucks to allow them to slide further and act like a snowboard, look it up, theres some pre good vids on how free boards work :)

And with a longboard your shopping distance is like 20% of one of these just take your time to not get fucked up the ass by a stupid driving the first time you get unlucky

No need to compare, they're completely different. I personally prefer longboarding aswell but freebording gives a great change to the downhill experience.

It’s a freebord it has extra wheels that have 360 rotation hence the board is able to move like a snowboard but on concrete your feet are strapped in! Would fukn love to try this
Everyone's like wow dude freeboarding so easy holy crap, it's so easy to slide you don't even have to try. It's like a ripstik, blah blah blah. Obviously none of them have ever ridden a freeboard. I switched from longboarding to freeboarding and it's incredibly hard. Nothing like a longboard
+Freebord I started getting it down but they say speed is your friend but when I get going that when it's sketchy... Like a can slide it out at lower speeds. Front slide and back slide but I don't have full control at high speed
Take your time. Don't add speed until you're nailing the slow stuff. Practice while holding a can of soda in your hand (just not glass) it can help with body positioning. Make sure you're bending your knees. Master a low speed parking lot. Learn how to jump on flat ground. Learn to stop heelside and toeside. Then and only then start taking it up a notch to higher speeds.
this is for people who love snowboarding and want to take it to the streets in summer and it has nothing todo with longboarding except it may look simular
As a longboarder that has tried freebording, I can say that freebording is harder than longboarding. It takes more skill to control, especially since the board can roll in all directions.

They have a third wheel on there board that's slightly lower than all the rest, so its just slide central, meet freeboarding
