And or free mods, there hundreds or random things you can place such as just. A slice of bread, or a single pen. You can also scale thing up or down. Even if by "play" ya just cheat money in and like...say pick couple themes via a spin wheel and have a contest and let chat vote. Ect.. like 90s theme or pastel. Rich, ect
HUGE tip with your paint- if you have 2 colors, one of which you no longer need and the other you are running out of, fill your roller with the one you don't need and then tap the one you do need, it will fill your roller with the 2nd color without spending any of that paint. You can use this trick to paint in very expensive colors while only buying 1 can of the expensive paint, or simply not have to buy a whole new can when you're almost done.
Sims 4 is great with mods! Like honestly worth using more mods than dlc. As for dlc recs, I’d say cats and dogs is necessary obvi so Joob can join in, the clutter kits are awesome and I personally love cottage living.

Every time Evan overrides his chaos tendencies to do something OCD for Katelyn, like at 1:30:00 with the tiny strip of gravel by the pool border, that's when I'm like "Why are you setting the bar so high, man". Evan should be the standard for bfs/husbands. At least from how he comes across through their uploaded videos lol
IRL house flipping my parents house and having a 5 hour house flipper to watch while I work is the greatest motivator! I can only hope my renovations can look as good as all your house flips!

To Evan and Katelyn: Tips if you are going to start playing the sims 4: -watch lilsimsie, she is one of the main sim 4 you tubers - You can access the sim versions of you within the sims 4 in a section called the gallery - To really enjoy the sims and to get the full experiences I would suggest doing a legacy challenge (doing X amount of generations) - some DLC that you will certainly need are: cats and dogs & get famous, along with any thing else that speaks to you - Be prepared for it to be like minecraft (be prepared to do multiple seasons of it and possibly have that be your main game)
A slight tip, don't spend money on scaffolding. Start laying your wall panels just below the high spot and then jump! Bam! It fills in.😊 You have to aim high.

Would love to see you play the Sims 4! A collab with @lilsimsie would be awesome. She has done streams with several people (Safiya and Rick Astley) who were new to sims and does a great job teaching others and she is a little closer to your time zone than the others a would suggest. 😊
