      Made a huge difference! Especially with all the backing a dumptruck does. Maybe a couple of backup and blindspot cameras next?

    Thanks for making this video. I have been looking for those spring detent things for years now. You gave me some great ideas. Where on earth did you source the mirrors?

      @@cowboyV2 right but what part did you search for to find it? "Mrap mirror" does not work. I know they exist but am missing the exact word you used to find it

    That's a real nice upgrade... I like that you are keeping with the "military" look. The mirrors on all the trucks are exactly like the one's you had, at least the two that I have were exactly the same (different mirrors). So, yep! They are different.

      Hey Dave! So nice of you to stop by! I figured as much with the mismatched mirrors :) Keeping the original style while updating to the detent pivots made all the difference in the world! Thanks for the compliment too! Also appreciate all of the LMTV vids you've posted. Really helped me out in getting this machine dialed in. Keep up the great content. We all appreciate what you do!

    The mirror that was on the driver's side was off an HMMWV. The right side was original to the truck.

    Whats the width and length of the body?

    • @cowboyV2
      @cowboyV2  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you mean the truck cab or the mirrors?

      @@cowboyV2 the actual body not the chassis itself its been very hard to find details and specs for the lmtvs (I'm personally going to be converting atleast 1 to be used for prescribed fire use meaning tank,pump,storage,front spray bar)

      Ok, got it. 86" wide excluding fender flares, 96" wide with fenders. 72" front to back.
