    I just got my ts-400 a few days ago. I’ve been playing alto and bari sax for 7 years and wanted a tenor. It’s a pretty great sax for the price! A better mouthpiece will help with your practices as well. I suggest a Rico Metalite m7. It’s 30 bucks and a great value.

      Hey thanks so much for the advice! It’s definitely been hard so I’ll check that mouthpiece out.

    U can also try using softer reeds like a 2 instead of a 2.5 to make it easier

    Nice work Man ! Think steady flow of air.
    Use your diaphragm to help regulate and also support air flow. You can also practice with just the neckpiece sometimes >producing steady constant airflow at different volumes / tones etc. There are tons of good learning resources on youtube on all levels as you already know. keep going !

    First thing is getting an appropiate reed and mouthpiece, i suggest a yamaha 4c mouthpiece and a 2 or 2.5 reed

    Hello, I want to buy a low budget tenor saxophone.. My question- is it truly made good sound? Please link any performance video of TS400. What month piece and Reed is good for primary stage. Thanks 🙏

      There are tons of mouthpieces out there, some people prefer metal, some rubber, some plastic, you just need to find what you enjoy, I currently use syos mouthpieces which are 3D printed (sounds like they wouldn’t play well but they do). So I suggest Jody jazz, syos or the other big saxophone mouthpiece name brands. When it comes to reeds there is only one choice in my opinion. Boston sax shop reeds. They are crazy good.

    Alto sax will be better for beginners.

      Thanks for the comment. Yeah, I heard it’s easier to learn on the alto sax, but I prefer the warmer/jazzier tone on the tenor. A little more challenge wouldn’t hurt hahaha

      Why alto sax is good for beginner ?

    • @stalekarma3262
      @stalekarma3262 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@dannytse7963 Alto is generally considered better for beginners because it’s smaller and requires less air. It also weighs less and is more comfortable to hold for someone who’s new.
