Had a blast on one of these yesterday at a demo day. Definitely my next bike.

Also if you’re lighter you get more out of that kind of emtb, most of my rides are over the chase I usually do about 25k get back to the van with around 40% mostly riding in full power mode too that’s on a trek exe, I think once you go above the limit on trails with less elevation you have a bit of an advantage on a lighter emtb, I’ve put some emtb Galfer pads in my TRP brakes which seemed really good anyway so I’ll see how they go.

Took one these out at ard rock. sounded like a bag of spanners, the pivot bearings had all gone and rear wheel was all over place too. 🥲
Yeh their mechanic couldn’t make it and I think the others were all a bit clueless on maintenance!

You can use the Di2 in normal/freeshift/autoshift (button on the shifter) looks like you had it in freeshift. They reckon autoshift will change gear for you without even having to touch the shifter !

My bike has the shimano EP6 MOTOR, which I can change to auto shit in the future plus 650 battery 85NP Torque I need to check out the price to upgrade to auto shift

autoshift is a bit more complicated then freeshift, because you need to change the freehub body as well. the 11-speed linkglide cassettes are only available in HG while your bike has Microspline. And if you have the raceface wheels with shimano freehub, you propably have to change the whole hub. the 12 speed autoshift is easier. it requieres only the di2 rear derailleur and the switch
