Sir, Request you to Please explain how Stress for Different element if Different..when the Load Applied is same for all the elements and every element is also same then the Stress also should be same for all the elements right...Which means the Concept of Average stress is still not Clear...
The concept of this average stress is by imagine when u cut an element into two it is impossible to see the resistive force but we can expose it by understanding equilibrium of force. Take for example a cross section of an element when tensile stress is applied to it. A resistive force called internal stress is distributed through out the area of that cross section, one of this internal stress is not enough to balance just a single line representations of the tensile stress pull out, so if we sum all this internal stress inside the element it turn out to be the sum of the one acting perpendicular to the area of the cross section (tensile), the another acting parallel to the area of the cross section (shear force) and the result from them will be average by dividing it by 2. The above explanation is just what this video shows when u cut the element to expose the it some of it act upward while the others act parallel and of course if u put all this internal forces together and divide them to the area it act(cross section) it will produce a quantity that will not just be a stress but an average stress.
خیلی ساده توضیح دادی ، حتی من که نه زبان هندی بلدم و نه زبان انگلیسی توضیحات رو متوجه شدم.ممنون
You are blessed, Manas, with great perspective drawing ability.
Thank u so much Clifford

Shouldn't it be F/A instead of P/A?
in this chapter force is taken by notation P
force/pressure is same in this case.
Sir please speak hindi
