Truth be told Bobby didnt want to leave NE, he just wanted more time on stage and more parts in songs. He wanted it more than the other guys. Their management kept trying to pimp Ralph to the fans and keep the other 4 to the back and Bobby wasn't having it. They should have just given Bobby more shine. Ralph was cool with it. I truly think if Brooke knew the business and remained their manager after Maurice Starr the 84-88 New Edition would have been totally different.
