Vintage Haul Deep Dive!

I have cleaned and roughly sorted the vintage LEGO haul I picked up a while ago. Today we take a deep dive into the parts and instructions we got! I also do a little pondering on what happened with the missing parts from the old collection!

New subscriber, and loving the content! Brother, we are cut from the same cloth haha! Right down to the over analyzation, the wanting to contact the seller, the investment aspect, and whether or not to pull from your PC.... I seriously feel like I just made this video lol. I'm going through much the same man, and luckily, my wife is here to keep me grounded and remind me it's supposed to be fun! I would enjoy some documentation of you building the older sets. Even if there are no minifigs. I’m eagerly awaiting the next animal crossing releases in the next few days and thinking that I will start to build out my collection based on that and DnD :)

Yes! I have a plan for the older sets! Lego collecting is helpful when you can hone in on the theme you want to collect. If you try to get everything it would get sooo expensive and you’d run out of space quickly. Miss you UM ❤️

Very odd about the headgear and accessories. I’ve found lots in otherwise great condition with sets complete but missing minifigures. Those guys just seem to walk off.

Yeah It’s strange for sure. I’m going through it all right now piecing together sets and pretty much every fig’s accessories are accounted for.

i think the minifigures were sold separately. Probably gathered them quickly without taking the time to find all their accessories and headgear

Yeah I mean that is certainly possible. It just didn’t seem like that was the case based on the situation of this lot + plus the guy selling it. I’ve gone through most of it now and every single figures accessories are there and then some. Plus there are a few other bits missing. So it’s not like it is JUST the minifigs. But who knows?? It’s all guessing at this point.

Yes! And im super happy with the results so far. Even if i have to purchase the figs to complete it, i should be able to recoup that money by selling off some of the other sets i am not looking to collect!
