Nice lot. I’m having trouble shifting used sets from these type of lots but the Star Wars figs generally sell well and you could quick sort bionicles and sell that as a lot.
11:51 first try to identify sets by the built chunks! Some sets are relatively easy to identify based on rare or unique parts or stickers, but many are very hard or impossible to identify in that way. If you want to figure out what sets are included, try to identify built chunks before you disassemble them. Trust me, it’s _way_ easier.
Yeah I think that is the move. I'm gonna take a bunch of pics of the partially completed stuff so I can identify it later on. I'm not used to doing things that way, but will definitely be easier like you said!
Decent haul you've got there. The CMF King is pretty valuable. Looks like it was a well played with collection which is always good to see in my opinion
07:39 might be able to clean up the marker from the helmet. Try car brake fluid, surprisingly good at removing that sort of thing, just go carefully with it to not damage the printing. Use a a tip and rub gently.
I am pretty sure we saw this lot on FBM - recognize Hwy 52 at Cannon Falls...:) If you come to the Toy Posse event in September (assuming you are back from the Motherland :)), bring some pieces you arent sure about. We have inventoried hundreds of sets and Dylan can identify just about any Lego element pretty quickly. The Geonosian's (guy with plastic wings are neat! Also we've sold the cms king you found as well - col13-1 for $30….
The ball bearings might actually have been from a Technic set. Some included metal bearings with no visible Lego markings on them. Edit: I forgot to mention that Google Lens is a pretty good way to quickly identify Lego parts. It gets tripped up on the more obscure pieces, but photographing a piece on a white background and then using Google Lens is a good shortcut if you don't want to break out a magnifying glass to look for the part number embedded on each piece.
oh thats a good shout... I forgot about bearings. It also could maybe be from an education set. Yeah I have been using Brickognize which is fast and so incredible.
If that marker is stubborn then you should use a little bit of I'm thinking rubbing alcohol or isopropyl alcohol just carefully because if if you see it melts then you know you should rinsed off and do a couple passes but that's just my recommended method
I can understand replacing arms to make your own customs, but I think kids just do this! I didn't pull arms off as a kid though, I'm not sure I knew I could back then!
Yeah... this is kinda my first haul where I have thought about that. Most of the stuff I've gathered up until now were used sets or just bulk that went into inventory. This will be another interesting challenge for sure, but looking forward to it!
About the narrative about your daughter; "if you pretend not to tell about your daughter, well pretend not to know". ;) Good luck with the video's. There pretty ok.

Yeah I think lotting some stuff will be a good strat once I get my hands in a little more on what I have.
8:16 I believe that bit of curved railroad track is from the Alien Conquest large flying saucer.
thank you!

Yes! It was loved for sure. Looking forward to getting more into it soon!

Whoa brake fluid! Wild. Did you come up with that?
@@JJJBricks nope. But I have used it before to do the same thing.
That’s crazy!

Thanks Walt! We just got back but not home home just yet. Traveling back to Minnesota on Saturday!
The black track I believe is from set 7065 Alien Mothership.
Ahh thank you!

I am seeing a minifig torso that I am 99% sure is from the Helm’s Deep Battle Pack! 😮
ooooooh I am very excited to dive into it more!

Yes definitely kept watching it and took it out before it took everything off!
Glue 🙈🙈🙈 hopefully it will come off as well as the marker pen 🤞
I was able to pull the parts apart fairly easily. So I think I might be able to peel it off from the plastic itself. Hopefully!
Great video. Travis Marsala recommended you.
Hey thanks Karl! Travis is a great dude and I love his honest hustle. Appreciate you coming over here!
Why people take the figures apart?
“childhood collection” what u think😂
I can understand replacing arms to make your own customs, but I think kids just do this! I didn't pull arms off as a kid though, I'm not sure I knew I could back then!
Totally. Kids try to pull everything apart!
The constant battle... how much effort do I put into this? lol
