I'm a bit confussed? You are talking about intercoolers and 250° temps. Are you sure you are not talking about oil temps? I run Liqui Moly 5w-40 and CSF radiator and my oil temps don't near 250° in Az during summer times. It should have an oil cooler if not, you might want to retro fit one.
Yes I am referring to oil temps, my car doesn’t have one from factory so I probably will install one in the future!
Brother i bought mine at 50k and im at 120k now FBO and a fuel pump nothing but utter happiness daily driven
I love to hear it!
did you get a N55 or N54 ?
@@GH0STedits N54, no matter how much money i make in life i will always own one. Love them
Good video!
Thank you!
just wanted to give a take on this. i am also in michigan with an 08 E90 335i stage 2+ and e30 at 150k miles. i have the ARM 5 inch intercooler and my temps have been perfect. so its not a bad intercooler.
I wonder if my water pump is giving up, my e90s went out around 80-90k and was from Florida, my 335i is from Arizona so not cool climates by any means
@AlteredAutomotive my 335 is from Missouri
Nice content! I’m about to get one of my own
Get a manual if you do🤙
A fan of the channel bro, keep up the great work! My N54 keeps throwing a “bank 2 too lean” code and idles rough at cold starts and pops a bit but once RPMs settle it idles perfectly
I didn’t have a code but I had a rough idle warmed up and gone or sometime nothing would happen till I replaced sparks and coils and cleaned the valves with wire brush and the valve cleaner it was a messy job without the walnuts but after that i didn’t have any problems with rough idling
Also did all the vacuum lines same time
If it’s not any of those things it could be the o2 sensors too, also I appreciate the support!
@@AlteredAutomotive mine just went out I think because of the dps
