Dude basically listed maintenance and repairs you do over like 9-10 years of ownership. And even then you probably dont do them all... I have owned n54 Z4 for 9 years... Yeah did not do much first couple of years but after car hit 10 years old maintenance did go up... i have done many things listed here... coilpacks, plugs many times, new valvecover, OFH gaskets, main seals pan gasket, boost solenoids, vanos solenoids, valve cleaning... waterpump, and so on... but all this was done over many years. and this car hasnt got me stranded on the side of the road once, And what... do you think you dont have to do maintenace or repairs on other cars, models or engines and just drive the shit out of them for 10 years... of course you do... old cars need some repairs, get oil leaks... even more when you tune them and turn the boost up and add 100 - 200 hp to them... Injectors are damn expensive but i got my car with them already on it. Most n54s are probably already running them... well atleast if they were well maintained.. you probably could buy the cheapest shitbox, never maintained and then have all those issues, repairs at once. Its a thing to check when buying.... And after 9 years im still on my original turbos and hpfp. So it isnt totally given that they die on you and you must replace them...

Did your kit come with a charge pipe to lower charge pipe? Can’t find one video with that part in

my tcs is always off but i have no abs light. sometimes in the morning otw to work abs light will be on for some reason but most of the time it’s not on. where i’m going with this is that my car won’t let me floor it in 4,5,6 gear, if i put the pedal to the floor it gets 0 power maybe 20% power if that. any tips?

Hi man,very nice you brought the Z to live,but your oil pressure is twice as low as it should be i had the same problem just recently.Its the gallery gaskets i suggest if you want to keep your engine alive you should change them! Great video keep ot the work.

With doing e85 fuel you'll have to use rotella t6 with higher detergents to keep build up minimal. ethanol attract moisture and that how spun bearing come about. So fcp euro oil change subscription and clean with rotella t6 every other oil change. I see your in a cold weather state so take heed.

The timing of me finding this video was such a coincidence. I just fixed my Z last month and paid off late registration for the last 2 years 😅

Done all these things over the course of almost 9 years of ownership except for the hpfp and low lpfp. Did the fuel injectors about two months ago. Now, the wastegate rattle from hell is happening but to be fair, this car has been tuned on mhd stage 2 for the last 5 years. Time for new turbo kit, clutch and fuel pumps. Mo powah 🥂

Not fast and not cheap to make fast... Celicas are much harder amd more expensive to make fast. These cars can pick up 30whp for like 5k. Which is pretty cheap. And stock they have about a 5.5 second 0-60. Considering the time period it's not slow.

For a better brake feel, you'd want to replace brake lines too, for instance, with the ECS Exact-Fit Stainless Steel lines. Especially for the 16 years old car. And I'd recommend to replace caliper guide bushings too.

I use MHD stage 2 E30, but mostly for smoothness and reliability, not for power

When you change % in your tank, don't try it immediately; there is still plenty of old fuel in hoses, pumps and the high pressure rail. Give it a few miles first.

I own 2008 E92 335xi for 8 years already. Almost immediately, I changed the charge pipe, downpipes, intercooler, flashed MHD stage 2 and using E30 map for several years already (+ replaced plugs and coils right away). Soon will be replacing turbos. I also tuned the suspension. Do maintenance; it's expensive but cheaper than not to do. Just recently I bought another BMW for the family, an X5 M50i with the newest N63TU3 engine. And guess what. It feels stronger from the stop but definitely not faster on the highway. Also, it handles great but is absolutely disconnected from the road compared to my E92. I decided to keep both. My E92 is still much more agile, more nimble. But I must say honestly that X5 hides its size and weight very well. I live in downtown Chicago, and we have crazy-packed traffic here. Both E92 and G05 handle awesomely in tight traffic. I also love the exhaust of both the N54 and N63. Probably two best sounds from BMW

My god 😂 , and to change some of them part is pure non sense hard , like the turbos .. and i wanna buy one of this non sense , i had such a peacefull life with a M57d30 .. i think i will keep that when this is not running well , man and people say N57 is shit , this is the whole engine type of repaur 😂
