It's all absolutely gorgeous! And while I love the huge cabinetry, I'm a stickler for functional storage & would have loved to see that as a larder pantry instead of a display case. Mainly because I don't have anything worth displaying personally.
I appreciate your opinion! With the Butler’s pantry it didn’t seem to make sense to add more pantry space in the middle of the kitchen. We really feel like that piece can be just as much decorative as it is functional.
My cabinets are 2000 orange oak. It’s actually really pretty and they look brand new still. I just want to tone down the orange without painting them. I just love this white oak. Stunning work on this house. Every video I think is my fav. However this one takes the 🎂 😉👌🏻

It’s very pretty. It would be much more practical to have a convenient place for multi day dishes, like plates and cups and some bowls. They are so far away from everything. A lower shelf by the stove would make it more sellable. I personally can’t have an open kitchen next to the tv room. It’s too hard to concentrate when someone keeps turning on the sink, running the dishwasher, or setting down plates and pans. But I know there are others that aren’t too bothered by that. Very pretty though.
