I just wish Ben would put in 100% effort into his game, that’s all the Sixers wanted him to do. He is so naturally gifted yet so genuinely disengaged, but it’s honestly more frustrating than anything to not see him reach his potential, especially with a team like the one they have built in Philly. He could literally make Philly a dynasty if he & embiid hit their full potential at the same time.
I think the worst part about this whole fiasco is him and everyone around the league thinking this team wasn't made for him. Morey came in and gave him the two of the best career 3 point shooters in the NBA with a center who can stretch the floor and also anchor the defense. This team was made for him and he made our team great in transition and on the defensive end (particularly the perimeter).
The problem is that his offensive shortcomings became his undoing in such an important series, highlighting all of his flaws and the spotlight shone on it brighter than ever. Now, there's no real coming back. He's got to want it more now than ever and I'm really not sure he can be that guy. But as a Sixers fan it's been a pretty dismal thing to go through, on top of The Process. Hope we can get something decent for him and we all just move on from this.

@@middleman2x819 in terms of physically gifted I don’t think the guy’s claim is that far off. Some people are really taking for granted how this guy moves at his size. Has a tight enough handle and is nimble enough to navigate through tighter traffic than someone like Giannis. When he gets going downhill, he’s as fast coast to coast with the ball as anybody. Like only the all time point guards like Wall and Westbrook can match that open court speed with the ball. It’s a really rare/unique physical combination.
LeBron, Jordan, Giannis, Durant, Shaq, Wilt, and Zion, maybe a few others I’m forgetting are the only ones that seem this gifted
