most clears i've seen recently for solo flawless root have been on hunter. would you say that hunter is probably the current most consistent class at it, or do you not have enough experience with the other two with solo root to really say?
personally i would say hunter is the most overall consistent. the only thing hunter struggles in imo is the running phase in explicator, compared to warlock which has ic dash and titan which has grapple. but even then with practice running on hunter for me is pretty much 100% consistent. however even with that one downside the upsides are quite high. you get to use lucky pants for damage in explicator and nez which is insanely good. plus you get to use a sword on nez which is good if you want to do solo flawless i would recommend hunter

@PodClips213 google warlock wellskating and titan bubbleskating. warlock and hunter are consistent, titan is much harder and depends on your frame rate. You can also do it multiple times on hunter and warlock, but on titan it uses your super each time.

when you get armour as a loot drop from completing the encounters in the destiny 2 raid root of nightmares, this armour will have a special slot where you can equip something called raid mods. These mods are only active when in the root of nightmares raid. if you don’t have any raid mods, you can get them by opening secret chests from the root of nightmares raid. the release recover raid mod gives restoration when you lose the light or dark buff. which is a buff that allows you to progress the main mechanics of the root of nightmares raid. the amount of restoration and the length of it changes depending on how many copies of the mod you have equipped. you reach restoration x2 with 4 copies of the raid mod “release recover”. however getting four copies of the raid mod requires 4 pieces of armour that you can slot it into. hopefully this helps and remember the mods only work while completing the root of nightmares raid

if you're good at strand grapple melee dps then yes it is. I did it on hunter though because it seemed safe. But im sure strand grapple melee isn't the worst thing in the world
@@Philliedips I got the regular solo on hunter but planets caused me a lot of issues. I’m ok on strand titan but it’s kinda annoying because I’m on Xbox hard to flick as well

I feel like even d1 crota wasn’t this bad in terms of difficulty lol I mean, the raid is actually fun because it’s so chill, but sometimes I do just wish there were more encounters like the planetarium where you didn’t just play connect the dots
yeah same. I think for a raid where 3/4 of it is connect the dots, the one encounter that isn't connect the dots really stands out. Not including the fact that it looks cool, the encounter is actually pretty solid because it involves a majority of the team compared to the other encounters where 2ish people do stuff and the others ad clear
