It takes some time to dial in the accuracy on these airguns. I imagine when there are so many to test and move onto the next it gets hard to do. I can't imagine how you keep all of these straight. I'm a minimalist at heart and really only want a couple options and that's it. Thanks for sharing another interesting one.
Oh absolutely! I have my favorite ones that I keep handy, the rest go in the ever-multiplying gun safes (and lately I’m starting send just stuff back.)
The 1077 will always be one of my favorites. It is just so perfect for can-shooting meditation.

I just think you need to move your sights for the pellets you plan to use and make that be the only ones you use that's why you missed the shots. Thats the idea when sighting in a gun you sight in for the ammo you plan to use.
Not much to move on these sights my friend. They’re pretty much fixed. The Vigilante, being a weaker hand gun with a shorter barrel, it is bound to be less accurate. And from 30ft it’s quote hard to see the exact target, with my naked eye. (I may need glasses hehe)
The 1077 on the other hand, being it a rifle with bright yellow fiber optic sights, makes it a lot easier

.... and a lot of hard work filing the ends off the H and N pellets once you discover that the don't fit!As for skin I have become a bit of an expert on injections since I developed a rare T Cell Lymphoma.Don't go slow ,inject fast,as if you go slow the skin is quite tough and it'll really hurt to push the needle in.I don't have to do that now as the self injection chemotherapy agents didn't work but somebody else puts it in now in hospital via a vein.
Glad i kept my 1077, very impressive for both guns with these pellets. Im curious on how well they will perform out of the Gamo P430. Solid video like always💯😎

if you glue the bottoms of the magazines together you can make a banana clip for the rifle and you've only to turn the mag for the next 12 shots ! thx for making these video's it has been helpfull to me ...

I may be wrong but those smaller hornets in a CP88 may turn that pistol into a much more serious threat of possible lethal consequences
Also why you havent gotten a gamo swarm magnum yet thats a great option fornswlf defense if you dont have a compressor

So, based on what you've shown us today, these seem to be a feasible option for giving a bad guy a bad day.
When you shot the Vigilante and had trouble hitting the paper target head, was that the ammo or the sights, in your opinion?
Hehe that was mostly me and partially the sights. The Vigilante’s sights are quite thick and it’s hard to see the target to the detail, at 30ft. The 1077 has a fiber sight which makes it easy to see exactly where you’re shooting. And it’s just more accurate as it’s a rifle. Also I didn’t check where the first shot I hit, before keep shooting. I just “dumped the mag” on the first go….

Owe now that's cool I didn't know they made hornet shorts I got to get some so far only two of my pistols work with the regular ones I have manly I've been just using them in my rifles keep a couple mags loaded for intruder surprise hmmm they must be fairly new couldn't find them where did you get them

Hey real quick remember your LTL bravo video where it performed not so well compared to the first one I have a bravo you have to check your CO2s when you screw the base plate on if at the end of screwing it feels like it's tightening it's a bad CO2 if it ends crisp like it's lose then it hits a wall it's a good CO2 some CO2 is slightly different lengths in a box of crossman CO2 about half are one way or the other and I mark the good ones check it out and let me know if you get the same results ifnyou so enough CO2 you should notice what I mean

The H&N Hornets like most hollow point pellets need speed to work properly not only for penetration but more importantly expansion. Unless they are near 850 FPS + they don’t expand properly. The cost is another factor for this particular pellet. They are NOT an everyday pellet. Nearly 25$ per tin last I checked. They are wicked at 900 FPS in a PCP but in a multi-pump or CO2 they just punch a hole like any other pellet imo. Not a plinking pellet but they are a good hunting pellet. Cool review regardless. Thanks a lot man! Much appreciated. Yes that over blurring is very annoying. Even more annoying are the extra steps I need to take to fix it. And when you’re a one-man-band doing EVERYTHING, even one stupid extra step can be overwhelming.

I had to look at pictures and compare profiles between the regular Hornets and the pistols version. They shortened pretty much everything on them. They're short and stubby versions of the Hornet... like gnome hornets or something like that... hey, wait, did you plan that?
The old Hornets were one advantage to all the CO2 guns that use the little cartridges. They don't have that restriction on length that the rotary clip ones do. I know Hornets, even in other calibers, have issues in magazine fed PCP's as well. Maybe in the future they'll add .22 and .25 Hornet Pistol pellets. I'd love to have .22 Hornet Pistol for my Sig MCX Virtus...
Those .25 cal Hornets, though, are nasty out of my Air Force Escape, which is a single shot, and has a lot of power.
Yea had to kidnap them in the Black Forest! They were’t armed at the time. I told them I was bringing them to Merica where they could carry anything they wanted. Boy, they were exited gnomes after that!

Теперь по стрельбе, в принципе, ничего удивительного, что "хорнеты" пробили пластиковый бачок, дело в том, что пулька (пеллеты) "хорнет" имеет кроме баббитового тела подкалиберный (меньшего диаметра) латунный сердечник. Свинец мягкий (~4,5НВ) поэтому он хорошо деформируется попадая в препятствие, но пробиваемость у него средненькая. "Хорнеты" позиционируются как "пробивные", поэтому льются из баббита который в 2-3 раза твёрже свинца (9-15НВ) и вдобавок с латунной подкалиберной головкой (литейная латунь ~60НВ), так что мягкое препятствие она пробивает целиком, а твёрдое пробивает только латунная "игла", оставляя баббитовое "тело" снаружи, поэтому дырочки такие маленькие.
На хороших скоростях свыше 500-600 FPS получается комплексный снаряд, сочетающий пробивные (латунная головка) и останавливающие свойства (баббитовое тело), поэтому "хорнеты" так легко пробили "искусственную кожу", раскололи чёрную скорлупу и покололи "неубиваемого" манекена 😁👍 Но всё-же лучше использовать пульки потяжелее для .177 лучше весом 9.3-10.66 g (0.6-0.69 грамм), такие пульки будут более устойчивы и лучше будут пробивать. Правда потребуются ружья и револьверы мощностью >6J (>6 Дж) для хороших результатов, но не чересчур мощные, можно даже без РСР обойтись, 4.5 - 6.6 ft*lbs (1 ft*lbs = 1,36 Дж ) или 6-9 Дж будет вполне достаточно🖐🧐

That dude looks pretty sketchy, hope while you dressed him you frisked him for weapons. 😅
He was shooting too fast for consistent accuracy. The cooling effect of fast shooting with CO2 really messes with accuracy. There should be at least ten seconds if not more between each shot to be a fair test. You can see how much they dropped the more he shot. I wouldn't put much store on these results.

Anyway, I see you have another comment that’s a bit off. So, let me explain:
One of this gun’s main selling points - which is written THIS BIG across the box- is that this rifle “shoots as fast as you can pull the trigger”. Look it up. Crosman actually recommends people to shoot it that way.
That said, yes CO2 is known to freeze up the internals especially the O-rings of air guns, which can cause a rapid weakening of the shots. Not sure about messing up the accuracy, but anyway. Always a pleasure to hear from you.
