I think one of the best parts of a TV movie is seeing environments, backgrounds and characters from the show redrawn at a higher budget. The second SpongeBob movie is a good example, some of the 2D backgrounds in that movie look absolutely gorgeous

I mean the first rugrats movie was the first animated movie not made by Disney to make more than a 100 milion dollars to ignore that îs pretty weird. I personally don’t agree with SpongeBob first movie , it should have been S tier. The crown ”side-plot” is not a sideplot , its the main thing that kicks off the movie plot , and get SpongeBob and Patrick on a run, also the hole message of a story is like perfect , I just love that movie and maybe I overates it , but I m still cool with it being on A-tier

A little disappointed that the Powerpuff Girls Movie wasn't mentioned at all. Feels like one of the most underrated superhero origin films out there, and Mojo Jojo was legitimately badass compared to the show.
The first time I saw the Steven Universe movie (When it came out in 2019, and wasn't even paying attention) I wasn't into Steven Universe. But back in 2022, I got REALLY into SU. I didn't really think I would want to watch the movie again, but when i watched it back in January of this year. I was like "This is the GOAT" Loud House is straight cheeks, Steven and Regular Show movies FTW
First of all, I respect you for putting the My Little Pony movie on such a high pedestal! Pinkie and Twilight’s interactions throughout definitely made it even better. Secondly, with across the 2nd dimension being a Phineas and Ferb staple for me ever since it came out, I loved everything about it. Candace Against the Universe, like you said, was fine, but I don’t really think it was TOO necessary, primarily because Dan made it clear this takes place before the finale (Last Day of Summer) - if you can even call it that given “Act Your Age.” Because of that, Candace feeling bad for constantly trying to ruin Phineas, Ferb, and everyone else’s summer doesn’t make much sense at this specific point since, if this movie was really taking place before the last day of summer, that would mean Candace immediately threw that regret out the window for who knows how long and then started feeling bad again. And yes, I know the show’s official fan wiki has a full on page listing every episode and special for the show in chronological order, but to me, it doesn’t make that moment any less confusing. But that’s really the only caveat I had with Candace Against the Universe, it’s still a good return for one of Disney Channel’s most popular and iconic shows.
I saw the live action Kim possible movie and I don’t know what to say about it because I only saw it once (I had never seen the series before so that was stupid of me)

I love how you gave The My Little Pony movie it's own tier lol but I ain't complaining, that movie was a gorgeous Diamond of a film. Plus it tied in to later seasons of FIM. 11/10
here in brazil we had a cartoon called "tromba trem", and last year the movie was released to end the cartoon and it was SO AWESOME, it ended the mysteries that the plot had in such a nice way, i was so happy to watch it
Personally I would put the Loud House movie in the C category at best. Having gone back and re-watched it, I can see why there was a sizable amount of criticism and I do agree it could’ve been a lot better. A villain with a weak motivation, unnecessary/wasted cameos, and so on, yeah that stuff irked me too. However. I still think it has that certain charm the main series always tries to reinforce and it does have a sense of finality to it. The songs are pretty good, David Tennant and Michelle Gomez played their respective roles very well, and visually speaking it does have that cinematic look. But either way, I respect this list for what it is. Keep up the good work, dude!

Hey May, if you were to make a part 2, I'd recommend you check out: 1. The Lego Ninjago movie (I thought it was pretty good but should have been a finale for the TV universe), 2. The Scooby Doo movies, both live action and S.C.O.O.B (They were all weird) and apparently Warner Brothers cancelled the sequel to S.C.O.O.B along with Batgirl so that might be interesting. 3. Rise of the TMNT movie. (That movie goes hard, for real) And of course we have, Dexter's lab, Totally Spies and The Power puff girls movies (cause I'm nostalgic 😋).
4:51 the worst part is this movie was supposed to be a tribute to Stephen Hillenburg but this movie is a straight-up disgrace to the entire SpongeBob SquarePants franchise because, 1. The creator said "NO SPIN-OFFS'' and immediately after this movie they made two spin-offs 2. SpongeBob said a bad word "crappy" THIS IS A KIDS MOVIE AND SPONGEBOB WOULD NEVER SAY THAT!! 3. It’s specifically the sene where, and btw SPOILER FOR THE FINALE, Steven and his gem half, which was removed from Steven and takes the form of a pink glowing Steven, are spinning around together while laughing with Whit Diamond looking at what is going on, ending with the two Stevens fusing back together into one

'Ninjago. March of the Oni' was a TV movie released both in a movie format and as 4 episodes back in 2019, it's pretty cool and served as a conclusion to the 'oni and the dragon' arc of the show. It also marked the end of 22-minute episodes and WilFilm animating the show.

I been waiting for the gumball movie for 4 years now I was so desperate for a movie that I started a writing my own It was pretty good Until Ben Bocquelet announced there was going to be one back in 2020 Now I’m just hanging on to that hope
to be honest, the 3rd spongebob movie isn’t that bad, but c’mon, why did they keep this plot instead of the original one? this movie would have been better if the king wasn’t so dramatic. the whole “king = spoiled brat” stereotype has to stop.
I haven’t watched any of these movies expect for the 3 SpongeBob ones, the Steven universe one, and the simpsons movie. Also kinda the my little pony one but that one felt more like a weird dream I had ounce because I only remember small parts of it. So I will make a list of these movies (expect for MLP because I can’t really remember so it doesn’t feel fair). I will start with the worst and work my way up. 5. Sponge on the Run- okay this movie kinda sucked, I don’t think it’s as bad as some people claim. It not like the bane of my existence but it isn’t something I would watch again. The characters feel more simplified like they lost some depth, and sometimes they act in way that contrast their character. Like the time SpongeBob and Patrick fought on the boat mobile with the whole rocks and sand in brain thing for no reason other than to stretch out the run time and have a fight scene. This movie is the worst movie ever but it’s not that good and the other movies here did it way better. 4. Steven Universe Movie- okay technically my sister watched it and I just kinda just watched in 10 minute bursts when walking past the TV. But I technically watched the full movie since my sister kept rewatching it because she loved it so I got enough 10 minute bursts that I watched the full movie. So I never watched Steven universe so maybe this movie is better with context but this movie is good. As a first introduction to the characters for me I thought most of the characters were good or forgettable . Steven is a fun main character, the girl or like love interest idk I forgot about her was forgettable. Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl was interesting enough, spinel was a fine villain and the dad is the best character and you can’t change my mind. The story is I thought was interesting and fleshed out well enough, the whole Spinel backstory I thought was kinda boring tho and the gem people forgetting about their past and Steven having to bring back their memory was cool to me ( Mostly because of how fun of a character Steven is) and the whole giant syringe thing sucking stuff from the earth was pretty interesting to me. The songs were fine but it got annoying how much there were to me because I didn’t know it was a musical, and the jokes were hit or miss to me. All in all this movie good and that’s about all I can say 3. Sponge out of water- I recently rewatched this movie and it’s weird. The beginning was probably the best part and was great to me, it felt like a SpongeBob episode. But the whole pirate book thing confused the hell out of me when I watched it was a kid but even when rewatching I now understand it but still find it confusing. But beside that the apocalypse thing was interesting and the whole time travel with plankton was fun, I wish they kept it like that. Then they make this movie a superhero one and it felt just for marketing and was out of left field. It was pretty underwhelming but the beginning and middle was still very fun and carried this movie for me. 2. The simpsons movie- I personally never watched the simpsons but heard about them. My dad kinda got me to watch it and it was not what I expected. Okay so about the plot, okay so the whole grandpa thing predicting the future was okay. It was fine enough but felt like there to carry the plot along because they didn’t know how to start it. Next I liked the whole Bart connecting with Ned Flanders, it was nice and more wholesome approach for the beginning and gave us a bracing period for about what was coming. Now for the pig story I also liked it, of course it felt more like a joke machine at the beginning but how it set in to start the dome was cool and I liked how the pigs poop being dumped into the lake was the thing that started EPA guys to put a dome over Springfield. Now I haven’t watched this movie in a while but I do kinda the townspeople rioting against homer and causing them to escape the dome and go on the run to Alaska but I don’t remember it enough to talk about it so all I will say is that it was fun. Now for the finale I basically don’t remember it but I remember liking it so yeah, on to number 1. 1. SpongeBob Movie- okay this is by far my favorite movie of all time, it’s funny, interesting, and spongey. The plot is great and fits SpongeBob well, my only gripe with the plot is the whole crown thing with Neptune because I thought that was boring but besides that everything is top notch. The character are true to their golden age selves, the songs (*cough* *cough* Goofy Goober Rock *cough* *cough*)are catchier and better than anything Steven universe put out and the ending is AMAZING. Ocean man fits SpongeBob for the end credits better than I would’ve ever expected and the moral fits SpongeBob too well. I can go on and on about how I love this movie but I think you get the gist. Okay so here’s my list tell me what you think about it but remember it’s just my opinion but you can share yours in the replies
I would put Candace Against the Universe higher in my opinion. The way they handled Candace's character in the movie is done well and I strongly disagree with the alien designs. I do see why people say AT2D is better and I can't blame them I do see why, but me personally, I like this movie more than AT2D. And I think it's mostly because I think Candace is a more interesting character than Perry IMO. The rest of the tier list though, (outside of the Loud House movie which I haven't seen) I do agree with.
I watched the Paw Patrol: The Movie. I liked the concept and the backstory of Chase. I like how the pups are supportive of Chase including Liberty. She was trying her best to help the pups. Paw Patrol: Jet to the Rescue, and Ready Race Rescue pups have some interesting scenes.
You forgot 80s and 90s cartoon movies, the ones where your favorite character(s) either die or get fatally wounded and there's dark undertones, or are the 80s my little pony movie and carebears movie.
I just got back from watching The Rise Of The TMNT Movie on Netflix and that's gone on the top of my cartoon movie list.....It just hits so damn hard especially the animation

This is one of my favorite animation mediums is cartoons/shows getting theatrical movies which is inspiring me to make my own cartoons like Dillard into a feature film cause how interesting it is with how the 2D animation would look like at a bigger budget and what interesting stuff they do with the animation style and seeing a big cartoon extended for a hour and a half with alot of people eating popcorn and drinking a good ol dr kelp.
I know all these in your opinion but your hella tripping on the Simpsons movie & Spongebob should be a S tier than Phineas and Ferb movie that movie should be Tier A. Like I can rewatch SpongeBob movie & The Simpsons it’s really classic .

here in brazil we had a cartoon called "tromba trem", and last year the movie was released to end the cartoon and it was SO AWESOME, it ended the mysteries that the plot had in such a nice way, i was so happy to watch it

I understand the spongebob movie placements but I will always hold all spongebob movies at S tier. It holds an awesome place in my heart.
Personally I would put the Loud House movie in the C category at best. Having gone back and re-watched it, I can see why there was a sizable amount of criticism and I do agree it could’ve been a lot better. A villain with a weak motivation, unnecessary/wasted cameos, and so on, yeah that stuff irked me too.
However. I still think it has that certain charm the main series always tries to reinforce and it does have a sense of finality to it. The songs are pretty good, David Tennant and Michelle Gomez played their respective roles very well, and visually speaking it does have that cinematic look.
But either way, I respect this list for what it is. Keep up the good work, dude!

1. The Lego Ninjago movie (I thought it was pretty good but should have been a finale for the TV universe),
2. The Scooby Doo movies, both live action and S.C.O.O.B (They were all weird) and apparently Warner Brothers cancelled the sequel to S.C.O.O.B along with Batgirl so that might be interesting.
3. Rise of the TMNT movie. (That movie goes hard, for real)
And of course we have, Dexter's lab, Totally Spies and The Power puff girls movies (cause I'm nostalgic 😋).

It’s specifically the sene where, and btw SPOILER FOR THE FINALE, Steven and his gem half, which was removed from Steven and takes the form of a pink glowing Steven, are spinning around together while laughing with Whit Diamond looking at what is going on, ending with the two Stevens fusing back together into one

'Ninjago. March of the Oni' was a TV movie released both in a movie format and as 4 episodes back in 2019, it's pretty cool and served as a conclusion to the 'oni and the dragon' arc of the show. It also marked the end of 22-minute episodes and WilFilm animating the show.

to be honest, the 3rd spongebob movie isn’t that bad, but c’mon, why did they keep this plot instead of the original one? this movie would have been better if the king wasn’t so dramatic. the whole “king = spoiled brat” stereotype has to stop.

I haven’t watched any of these movies expect for the 3 SpongeBob ones, the Steven universe one, and the simpsons movie. Also kinda the my little pony one but that one felt more like a weird dream I had ounce because I only remember small parts of it. So I will make a list of these movies (expect for MLP because I can’t really remember so it doesn’t feel fair). I will start with the worst and work my way up.
5. Sponge on the Run- okay this movie kinda sucked, I don’t think it’s as bad as some people claim. It not like the bane of my existence but it isn’t something I would watch again. The characters feel more simplified like they lost some depth, and sometimes they act in way that contrast their character. Like the time SpongeBob and Patrick fought on the boat mobile with the whole rocks and sand in brain thing for no reason other than to stretch out the run time and have a fight scene. This movie is the worst movie ever but it’s not that good and the other movies here did it way better.
4. Steven Universe Movie- okay technically my sister watched it and I just kinda just watched in 10 minute bursts when walking past the TV. But I technically watched the full movie since my sister kept rewatching it because she loved it so I got enough 10 minute bursts that I watched the full movie. So I never watched Steven universe so maybe this movie is better with context but this movie is good. As a first introduction to the characters for me I thought most of the characters were good or forgettable . Steven is a fun main character, the girl or like love interest idk I forgot about her was forgettable. Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl was interesting enough, spinel was a fine villain and the dad is the best character and you can’t change my mind. The story is I thought was interesting and fleshed out well enough, the whole Spinel backstory I thought was kinda boring tho and the gem people forgetting about their past and Steven having to bring back their memory was cool to me ( Mostly because of how fun of a character Steven is) and the whole giant syringe thing sucking stuff from the earth was pretty interesting to me. The songs were fine but it got annoying how much there were to me because I didn’t know it was a musical, and the jokes were hit or miss to me. All in all this movie good and that’s about all I can say
3. Sponge out of water- I recently rewatched this movie and it’s weird. The beginning was probably the best part and was great to me, it felt like a SpongeBob episode. But the whole pirate book thing confused the hell out of me when I watched it was a kid but even when rewatching I now understand it but still find it confusing. But beside that the apocalypse thing was interesting and the whole time travel with plankton was fun, I wish they kept it like that. Then they make this movie a superhero one and it felt just for marketing and was out of left field. It was pretty underwhelming but the beginning and middle was still very fun and carried this movie for me.
2. The simpsons movie- I personally never watched the simpsons but heard about them. My dad kinda got me to watch it and it was not what I expected. Okay so about the plot, okay so the whole grandpa thing predicting the future was okay. It was fine enough but felt like there to carry the plot along because they didn’t know how to start it. Next I liked the whole Bart connecting with Ned Flanders, it was nice and more wholesome approach for the beginning and gave us a bracing period for about what was coming. Now for the pig story I also liked it, of course it felt more like a joke machine at the beginning but how it set in to start the dome was cool and I liked how the pigs poop being dumped into the lake was the thing that started EPA guys to put a dome over Springfield. Now I haven’t watched this movie in a while but I do kinda the townspeople rioting against homer and causing them to escape the dome and go on the run to Alaska but I don’t remember it enough to talk about it so all I will say is that it was fun. Now for the finale I basically don’t remember it but I remember liking it so yeah, on to number 1.
1. SpongeBob Movie- okay this is by far my favorite movie of all time, it’s funny, interesting, and spongey. The plot is great and fits SpongeBob well, my only gripe with the plot is the whole crown thing with Neptune because I thought that was boring but besides that everything is top notch. The character are true to their golden age selves, the songs (*cough* *cough* Goofy Goober Rock *cough* *cough*)are catchier and better than anything Steven universe put out and the ending is AMAZING. Ocean man fits SpongeBob for the end credits better than I would’ve ever expected and the moral fits SpongeBob too well. I can go on and on about how I love this movie but I think you get the gist.
Okay so here’s my list tell me what you think about it but remember it’s just my opinion but you can share yours in the replies

I would put Candace Against the Universe higher in my opinion.
The way they handled Candace's character in the movie is done well and I strongly disagree with the alien designs.
I do see why people say AT2D is better and I can't blame them I do see why, but me personally, I like this movie more than AT2D. And I think it's mostly because I think Candace is a more interesting character than Perry IMO.
The rest of the tier list though, (outside of the Loud House movie which I haven't seen) I do agree with.
I watched the Paw Patrol: The Movie. I liked the concept and the backstory of Chase. I like how the pups are supportive of Chase including Liberty. She was trying her best to help the pups. Paw Patrol: Jet to the Rescue, and Ready Race Rescue pups have some interesting scenes.

I watched the second SpongeBob movie when I had surgery and was in the hospital for my elbow. It was a good movie.
I just got back from watching The Rise Of The TMNT Movie on Netflix and that's gone on the top of my cartoon movie list.....It just hits so damn hard especially the animation

This is one of my favorite animation mediums is cartoons/shows getting theatrical movies which is inspiring me to make my own cartoons like Dillard into a feature film cause how interesting it is with how the 2D animation would look like at a bigger budget and what interesting stuff they do with the animation style and seeing a big cartoon extended for a hour and a half with alot of people eating popcorn and drinking a good ol dr kelp.
