Yes very less. If you want more salary you should go into medicine, radio, derma, surgery, OBG, ortho, pediatrics or opthal.
Anesthesia is a dependant branch.
80k during your residency...My senior completed his MD anesthesia from KGMU last year and he is earning close to 2lac/month in kanpur. Pay grade is even better than medicine and pedia during early years because medicine guy have to make his name until he starts earning. You do you fellowship or DM after MD anesthesia and you earn 3-4lac/ month easily in any corporate hospitals.

I'm very confused about this two terms
1. Anaesthesiologist (specialisation after mbbs)
2. PhD Anaesthesia
Question: what is the difference between these two terms ?
PhD anaesthesia candidate licensed to give anaesthesia to the patient if not what is the role of phd anaesthesia candidate's

PhD anesthesia can only do research. Only MD Anesthesia can give anesthesia to patients.

3.own already running setup (by ur mom or dad)
Actually if ur gonna free Lance min u can do 4 to 5 general anaesthesia (nearly 5k per GA) per day
