Very informative. We are thinking of doing this but would have to be in shape! I would love to see the 16 week training schedule.

Good video. Only thing I'm really worried about is getting sick while doing this. Mostly from the food and lack of hygiene etc. Any tips for this or advice on this

I would love to trek the EBC trek combined with the 3 pass loop. Finding other kindred spirit hikers to join me may be more difficult from Los Angeles. Yes, I would like to see the 16 week training plan.

      Hi Stephanie...
I am already booked to do the basecamp & 3 passes starting Nov15th. Instead of flying into lukla like most people do I am flying into Phaplu which is about 3 days away from Lukla on a lower elevation. Let me know if u are interested assuming u havent already done it...

Why do you go both up and down via Tengboche when there is a much more impressive high trail on the opposite side of the valley via Phortse? Everybody should go up that way and come down via Tengboche. Stupid not to use trail variations when they are available.
10 days is too fast and not safe for mot trekkers, too little acclimatisation time and against medical recommendations. Cheaper yes, but only trekkers estate might be able to enjoy the savings. Also prime material for helicopter rescue scams.

Hi, is it mandatory to hire a guide or porter for EBC trek above Namchebazer,,,,

It would be nice if you use meters and kilometers instead feet/miles since 90% of the world using metric measurement Nepal as well.
