Haha, that's what real Northeners do at -10C, they make and eat ice cream!!! I remember in my childhood all foreigners were freaking out when we, children walked on a street and eat ice cream in winter at -20C. Well done! The actual expression is "I'll keep my fingers crossed". Images of Aurora Borealis are fantastic. Be well.😍
Wonderful video. Thank you so much. I love the scenes with the northern lights above your tent. You are my inspiration to do small adventures in the cold. For example today, my husband and me went with our bikes to a little lake in the forest. After sun set. We were sitting with our Helinox chairs at 0 C until it was dark. The moon light was shining on the frozen lake. We were covered with warm blankets and drank hot tea. Just sitting in the stillness in nature. It was so wonderful. Legg gjerne ut en video på litt teknisk rundt dette med kamera osv også, samt hvordan du pakker dette trygt på turene dine. Ha en flott dag!

Interesting video.MAKING ICE CREAM WHILE WINTER CAMPING. Are you quite MAD? ;o) But it's an interesting idea for a group and great for bragging rights. BTW, I used to store my wooden skis with a 2 cm thick block of wood between them and bind the shovel and tail areas to hold the block in place. This helps wooden skis keep their proper camber. I like pulks and have built my own. I prefer rigid poles, crossed, to make turning easier. Ah, good old reliable MSR Whhisperlite Universal stove. I have one too. My wife and I were in Tromso in October of 2023 and WE DID NOT SEE NORTHRN LIGHTS! Aaaaarrrrgggghhhh! But I have seen them in Canada in the 1970s.
